Marketing Monday: Who is the Top Dog on Facebook?
It’s Monday which means a new Marketing Monday and checking out how the various Facebook fanpages have grown or shrunk over the past week.
Overall, the pages continued to grow, this week gaining 313,123 individuals total, a 1.11% increase. Compared to last week, which came off of the heals of San Diego Comic-Con, the growth is slower, which isn’t a shock. But still, that’s some solid movement over a week’s time.
We also added some new pages to watch going forward, though their increases were minimal.
Movement has also increased for pages as far as changing their ranks. I’ve added arrows next to what has increased in ranking. Hopefully it makes sense.
Marvel remained in second place this week as ComicBook.com vaulted into the largest increase for the week. Having seen ads for the site, I doubt much of that is organic, and instead is paid for through the ads.
As usual it’s the percentage change where we see the biggest change from the previous week. ComicBook.com had massive growth this past week, so it’s not surprising they’re in the top spot when it comes to the percentage change. Second place is Valiant, followed up by digital comics platform ComicBlitz, then our own site in fourth, and the top five is rounded up by San Diego Comic-Con.
And here’s the top posts from the last week.
