The Folk of Dooney Hollow #1 has the makings of an interesting horror series

Deep in the Ozark Mountains lies the village of Dooney Hollow, hidden away from modern society for over a century. Its existence is only spoken of around campfires, in hushed tones, by people who don’t necessarily believe. Those who stumble upon Dooney Hollow never return to prove that it’s real, because dark forces lurk in the woods just outside the town gate.

Kerri is a young graduate student who goes to the Ozarks to get a feel for the land and its people – and its local legends. Little does she know how close to these legends she will get, as a chance encounter in the forest leads her to ceremonial grounds and the terrifying monster that keeps the citizens of Dooney Hollow living in fear.

Get an early look at 12-Foot Skeleton #1 by Tim Seeley, Aaron Campbell, and Ben Templesmith

This might be Lola and Jimmy’s last Halloween. Not because they’re aging out at 12-years-old…there’s a 12-foot-tall lawn skeleton on a rampage in their neighborhood!

Lola is a triple threat of social suicide: goth girl, new kid, and outspoken feminist. Meanwhile, Jimmy is a bookish, quiet, bullied kid trying to enjoy his favorite holiday between cancer treatments.

When Lola discovers she might have a much stronger connection with the malevolent force inhabiting the skeleton than she could ever imagine possible, it’s up to Jimmy to inspire them to face certain danger and embrace the future rather than run from their traumatic pasts.

Aaron CampbellTim Seeleyand Ben Templesmith present a Halloween story with the heart and soul of a classic Spielberg film alongside all the spills, chills, and horrifying thrills of everyone’s favorite 1980s slasher movies!

Minotaur #2 has interesting concepts but doesn’t quite nail down its potential

Photojournalist Gloria Monday’s mission to investigate outbreaks of the future continues!

An encounter unlocks clues about the “weretiger” terrorizing a local Indian population; and truth-seeking takes a personal turn when Monday’s search for answers about the Singularity event uncovers a life-changing (and possibly Earth-shattering) revelation.

Meanwhile, money man Raf Romero proves he’s more than just the bankroller when he shares shreds of his origin story and fresh new intell.

Government agents Koch and Bull’s scorched Earth pursuit of the team heats up, and all the new leads in the world won’t help Monday crack the case if this cat-and-mouse game continues.

Modern dating is rough.

No one likes being on the apps, but it’s not much easier meeting people IRL. Especially when they might turn you into a vampire without warning.

This is exactly what happened to Syd. She was only trying to get over her toxic ex—whom she may still drunkenly text from time to time—not looking to have her life totally changed. She thought finding the right guy before was hard, but now she has an unquenchable thirst for blood. Her dating pool has suddenly become her food chain!

Meanwhile, Izzy has been trying to make her dreams a reality in the Big Apple, though right now she’s part of the gig economy working as a rideshare driver. When Syd ends up in the back of Izzy’s car, there is an instant connection. Is this love at first sight, or will it all end with one bite?
