Skybound, Image Comics, and Universal Products & Experiences, have revealed an impressive slate of variant covers from Universal Monsters: Creature from The Black Lagoon Lives! #1, the debut issue of a new four-issue limited comic book series from acclaimed writers Dan Watters and Ram V, along with artist Matthew Roberts, and colorist Dave Stewart.  

Readers can expect to dive headfirst into a world of suspense, intrigue, and terror when this first issue hits comic book shops April 24, 2024.  

In addition to the main cover by Matthew Roberts, Universal Monsters: Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives! #1 boasts a variant cover lineup from top artists including Joshua Middleton, Joëlle Jones, and Alex Ross, as well as the first of a four-part connecting cover series by DANI, and a blank sketch cover.  

In addition to the Creature himself, the series introduces new characters like journalist Kate Marsden and serial killer Darwin Collier, along with a returning character from the film – the mysterious Doctor Edwin Thompson.
