Titan Comics has revealed the covers for Highlander: The Original Screenplay #1. Written by Gregory Widen, creator and screenwriter of the original Highlander movie, with art by Szymon Kudranski, this highly anticipated comic series is based on Gregory Widen’s original script and reveals the original vision behind the timeless classic.
This lavishly illustrated comic tells the story of the immortal Connor MacLeod as he lives through the centuries facing off against rivals for the mysterious prize.
Based on Widen’s original script, this volume presents the story as you’ve never seen it before.
Highlander: The Original Screenplay #1 features covers by Gerardo Zaffino, photo by Lee Binding, Szymon Kudranski, Claudia Gironi, original poster by Brian Bysouth, a blank sketch, and variations including virgin cardstock and foil covers.
W. Maxwell Prince and Martín Morazzo will get fans screaming again this Halloween season with a very special, Ice Cream Man #1: Chocolate/Vanilla Twist. This hair-raising thriller will bring the bestselling series’ debut issue back to print in stark black and white and will feature a highly collectible, interactive cover treatment. It will hit shelves in October from Image Comics.
As a cherry on top, Ice Cream Man #1: Chocolate/Vanilla Twist edition will also boast remastered lettering by Good Old Neon and a BRAND NEW Ice Cream Man short story brought to life by the entire creative team.
More bone-chilling than any horror movie in theaters, Ice Cream Man #1: Chocolate/Vanilla Twist will provide fans with a truly toothache-inducing terror-ride of entertainment. The pages of this inaugural comic book confection will be tucked behind something special: a “hidden” treatment of the original cover art…which will have focal decoder technology to make the Ice Cream Man disappear! But don’t worry, sweeties. To bring him back, simply grab your included ‘Lookety Split’ Decoder Lens and unlock the original cover art…now with an added sprinkling of secret messages and pictures! It’s comix-cover-acrobatics as you’ve never quite seen before!
It’s a celebration of Ice Cream Man befitting its legacy: weird, inexplicable…and cool as all-get-out. Fans should grab their copy (before they, too, disappear), and get ready for the heady, steady march to the milestone Ice Cream Man #50 issue arriving in 2027.
Ice Cream Man #1: Chocolate/Vanilla Twist will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, October 14.
Image Comics has revealed a special, highly collectible variant cover by comics icon and Image Comics founder Rob Liefeld for the most anticipated premiere of the year—Chainkata #1—by multiple Eisner Award winning super-star Daniel Warren Johnson which launches this November from Image Comics.
Liefeld’s striking take on the series’ main character is sure to snag the attention of comics fans everywhere and will be fully orderable to comic shop retailers.

The story will blend the epic, high-stakes sci-fi of Beta Ray Bill and Space-Mullet and with the character-building depth of Extremity and Do A Powerbomb. It is the culmination, and maximization, of Johnson’s craft and the perfect read for fans of action-packed comics with art that leaps from the page.
