DC and Marvel team up for Deadpool/Batman and Batman/Deadpool

Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth meets DC’s Dark Knight this September in Marvel/DC: Deadpool/Batman #1, the first of two crossovers between Marvel and DC more than twenty years in the making with a “larger collaboration program between the companies—a crossover program like the comic book industry has never seen!” Produced by Marvel, Deadpool/Batman #1 will be followed by Batman/Deadpool #1, produced by DC and on sale this November.

Deadpool/Batman #1 will be written by prolific Spider-Man comics writer and co-writer for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine Zeb Wells and drawn by industry superstar Greg Capullo, an artist with an incredible legacy at both legendary comic book companies, with influential work on Batman and X-Men titles. In addition to the main story, the one-shot will feature a lineup of jaw-dropping backup adventures, each featuring Marvel and DC character match ups that are sure to thrill every comic book fan! More details on these backup stories and their creative teams will be shared at a later date.

Batman/Deadpool #1 will feature a lead story written by legendary scribe Grant Morrison and brought to life through the stunning artwork of Dan Mora. Beyond the main event, Batman/Deadpool #1 will feature an exciting lineup of backup stories, each showcasing dynamic matchups between beloved characters from both universes. Details on these thrilling tales and their creative teams will be coming soon.
