Marvel has announced that it’s launching the first-ever 20^th Century Studios comic book imprint this April! The imprint kicks off April 5 with Planet of the Apes #1. It will then be followed by Marvel’s Alien and Predator comics. Fans will see the imprint beginning in April and going forward starting with Planet of the Apes #1, Alien #1, and Predator #2.

Marvel Comics’ new imprint will draw upon 20th Century Studios’ franchises, including iconic franchises like Planet of the Apes, Predator, Alien, and more. Other interesting 20th Century Studios film franchises along the line of what has already been released includes 28 Days Later, The Abyss, Alien Nation, Die Hard, The Exorcist, The Fly, Max Payne, Minority Report, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Terminator, The X-Files, and so much more.

Marvel began publishing its latest Alien comic book series in 2021 and its latest Predator comic book series in 2022. The upcoming Planet of the Apes #1 is written by David F. Walker with art by Dave Wachter, a main cover by Joshua Cassara, and variants by Mike McKone, Logan Lubera, Yanick Paquette, and Todd Nauck.
