BOOM! Studios has revealed a first look at The Killer #1, the return of the Eisner Award-nominated series by acclaimed French artist Luc Jacamon and writer Matz, with a brand new six-issue series “Affairs of the State”, bringing readers into the Killer’s high-stakes world of espionage and contract killing before the upcoming Netflix film directed by David Fincher, written by Andrew Kevin Walker, and starring Michael Fassbender. 

Caught and put to work as an on-call assassin for the French government, Killer has to adjust to working with a handler, a partner, and living life as a civilian. An underhanded target, a City Hall employee, leads Killer and his partner, Nicolas, toward a sinister web of city-wide corruption. But while Nicolas assures Killer that it’s all for the greater good, will Killer ever be able to get back to his nihilistic lifestyle, free from debt and government associations?

The Killer: Affairs of the State #1 features all-new main cover art by series artist and global star illustrator Jacamon, and variant covers by highly acclaimed artists Jonboy Meyers, Francesco Francavilla, Reiko Murakami, and Junggeun Yoon. The comic comes to shelve February 23, 2022.
