Bad Idea Announces More Comic Delays

Pyrate Queen #4 was to come out this Wednesday, January 19, but Bad Idea has announced the comic will have to wait for one more week.

Not all Destination Stores have received their copies of Pyrate Queen #4 so the publisher has decided to delay its release for one more week. That means, Pyrate Queen #4 will now release on January 26th, the same day as Monster Kill Squad #3.

Bad Idea has also announced that Monster Kill Squad #4 will be released on Wednesday, February 9th.

Bad Idea Announces New Release Dates

Bad Idea had said it was wrapping things up at the end of this year but it looks like the publisher will be waiting until at least January. The comic publisher has announced that Refuse x Last Resorts has be rescheduled for December 1st. Pyrate Queen #3 and Monster Kill Squad #3 have been moved tentatively to January 2022. That means the fourth issue of each series will be even further out.

Odinn’s Eye #1-5 is still scheduled for December but those orders have been capped at the current “Final Five” pre-order levels with no new orders being taken.

Bad Idea Caps Odinn’s Eye Orders to their Final Five Pre-Order Levels

Bad Idea has announced an impact of the current labor and paper shortage and that means Odinn’s Eye #1-5 is going to be hard to find.

The publisher has announced that it has secured paper and while November releases won’t be impacted, December will be a bit more difficult. The publisher has said they are confident they can supply all upcoming orders for Pyrate Queen #4 and Monster Kill Squad #4 but to do so they are capping Odinn’s Eye orders.

Odinn’s Eye #1-5 orders are capped at their current “final five” pre-order levels and won’t be open for additional orders. That means effectively all five issues are “sold out” before release.

This also means that Bad Idea won’t have extra inventory of Odinn’s Eye #1-5 to replace any damaged product.

Bad Idea has also warned that the remaining comics in its 2021 schedule will likely be delayed to some extent.

Does this make Odinn’s Eye #1-5 one of the hardest releases to get yet for the publisher?

Monster Kill Squad #2 Delayed Until October 13

Bad Idea has announced that Monster Kill Squad will see delays for its four issues. Issue #2 will arrive Wednesday, October 13th, issue #3 on Wednesday, November 10th, and #4 will comes to shops on Wednesday, December 8th.

Pyrate Queen #2 and The Lot #4 will still be released on October 6.

Monster Kill Squad is written by Christos Gage with art by Tomas Giorello, colors by Diego Rodriguez, and cover by Lewis Larosa and Rodriguez.

Once upon a time, monster attacks were rare. A forest witch might murder a few hikers, a killer clown might eat a few children, or a malevolent ghost might drive a young couple insane just for the hell of it. But these events were scarce, easily covered up, and soon faded into campfire stories good for a laugh.

But no one’s laughing now. Over the past 90 days, cryptozoological attacks have increased a hundredfold, and the arcane has become everyday. Monsters of every shape and size strike at will, and the good, taxpaying folks of the US of A have had enough of this nonsense.

Enter: THE MONSTER KILL SQUAD. A Government Unit of the most dangerous motherfuckers on the planet, the deadliest folks alive are here to put a bullet in the brain of everything that walks, crawls, flies, or hides in shadows. And if it doesn’t have a brain, all the better — we’ve got a gun for that, too.

Witches and wraiths. Demons and deadites. Goblins and ghosts. There have always been monsters. Now there are monster killers, and the MKS will kill it, and kill it good.
