Get ready for sensational comics as Weekly World News invades with a new series!

Mad Cave Studios is joining forces with—or being invaded by?—the Weekly World News team to present a 6-issue comic book series beginning this December. Written by Ken Kristensen, Steven Paul Judd, and tvli, with artwork by M.K. Perker, colors by Dee Cunniffe, and letters by Taylor Esposito, the first issue of this series boasts covers by Perker, Tom Fowler, Declan Shalvey, and Maria Wolf. And now, Mad Cave can reveal brand new Bill Sienkiewicz cover art for issue #1 as well, available in both a cardstock variant and a virgin (no title dress) cardstock variant.

HELL TOUPEE!

A workplace comedy that blends X-Files intrigue with the irreverance of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The son of one of the most respected journalists in history joins the misfits at the notorious tabloid famous for headlines like “Elvis-is-Alive!,” “Bigfoot Sex Slave!,” and “Florida Mafia Hires Vampire to Kill O.J.!” In the first issue: a conspiracy so deep it may have cracked the ceiling of Hell!

Weekly World News #1 (of 6) goes on sale December 2, 2026. Final order cut-off for retailers is November 9, 2026. Each 32-page issue retails for $4.99, and the Sienkiewicz cardstock cover and virgin cardstock variant, as well as the foil variant of Fowler’s cover will retail for $7.99 each.
