Infinite Seven is Action Hero Archetypes Re-Imagined. Check out the Preview.
For centuries, a secret world government has employed the Infinite Seven, the world’s greatest assassins to do their dirty work. The only way to become one of their members is to prove your worth by killing one of their members. But what happens when Anthony Zane, a teenage boy from the suburbs does just that?
In a release, writer Dave Dwonch shared:
I’m a huge movie and pop culture nerd, and Infinite Seven is my love letter to all the things I loved growing up. GI Joe, MASK, James Bond movies, over the top 80s action flicks and martial arts masterpieces– they’re all in there. Filter all that through my warped brain, sprinkle in secret societies, blend with a little Piers Anthony, and you’ve got the biggest, baddest team book on the shelf. These are action archetypes you know (or think you know) playing in the same universe. The set pieces are huge, the action is off the charts, and the book has heart. A lot of that comes from the art team. If I’m the screenwriter of this ‘action movie’, then artist Arturo Mesa is the director, and colorist Geraldo Filho is the special effects supervisor. They are incredible!
Infinite Seven is an all-new monthly ONGOING series with interlocking variant covers for issues 1-4. It’s written by Dwonch with art by Arturo Mesa, colors by Geraldo Filho, and covers by Mesa and Kirbi Fagan.
