Highly anticipated by fans and picking up after the dramatic events of Season 2, Young Justice: Outsiders finds our heroes reuniting to take down a metahuman trafficking organization. This special San Diego Comic-Con sneak peek relives some of Young Justice’s most impactful moments before giving us our first look at Outsiders.
Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment have announced a new digital service which will air exclusively the new Titans live action show and Young Justice: Outsiders, the third season of the Young Justice television show. Both shows will debut in 2018.
Executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are teaming up for the all-new live-action drama series Titans which is in the early stages of production.
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
Titans will be written by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti. Goldsman, Johns, Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are executive producers of the series from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy. Passionate fan support set the stage for the new third season.
Sam Register is executive producer of Young Justice. Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman are producers of the series, produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Emmy Award winner Phil Bourassa serves as the series’ art director.
After a lot of fan demand it looks like the social pressure has paid off as it has been announced that the much beloved animated series Young Justice will be getting a third season.
It’s unknown exactly where/how/when/what platform the series will be returning, but you better believe we’re excited!

The Team is back and it’s “business as usual.” Warner Bros. Animation has begun production on a third season of all-new episodes of the acclaimed hit, action-animated series “Young Justice,” based on the characters from DC Entertainment. Season three promises new twists, turns and dangerous new threats for the team, but most importantly, the opportunity for fans to finally continue the adventures of some of their favorite Super Heroes. Further details about the new season — including premiere date and network partner — will be announced at a later time.
Heralded by Entertainment Weekly as one of the “9 Best Animated TV Series Drawn from Comics,” “Young Justice” has been equally praised by critics and viewers for its impressive visuals and rich storytelling. The series reached more than 25 million unique viewers in each of its two seasons on Cartoon Network.

Producers Brandon Vietti (Batman: Under the Red Hood, Superman: Doomsday) and Greg Weisman (Star Wars Rebels, Gargoyles) will be returning to the series.

Warner Archive Collection brings another outstanding Warner Bros. Animation television series to Blu-rayTM with the November 18 release of Young Justice: Invasion, the thrilling second season of the popular series.
Taking this release to another level, Warner Archive Collection has added an exclusive commentary track on the series finale episodes “Summit” and “Endgame” featuring creators Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti along with voice actors Jason Spisak (Kid Flash) and Stephanie Lemelin (Artemis). Coming up in the next McDonald‘s Happy Meals are toys based on Young Justice. Kind of cool looking, definitely different than what’s come before.
Other than season 1 volume 2, I haven’t watched any episodes of the popular DC comics based animated show, but let me say that Young Justice: Season One, Volume Three
Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis have become YOUNG JUSTICE – The Justice League’s secret weapon against the forces of evil. The teen heroes will take on under-the-radar missions that would be impossible for the Justice League to handle covertly. Red Tornado will be their supervisor; Black Canary will be in charge of their training and Batman will hand out their assignments.
Covering four more episodes like the last release, Bereft, Targets, Terrors and Home Front continue the excellent story telling and animation I’d expect. What can I say? The series is quality and entertaining for both adults and kids alike.
The art is fresh and exciting and the series can be enjoyed by kids and adults. I came away wanting to see more and luckily I can with new episodes running now.
The series is fantastic in it mixes action but also some characterization that makes everyone unique and stand out. It’s tons of fun to watch and the episodes very much vary even having some winks and nods for hardcore comic fans.
My only issue again is the lack of extras on the DVD. There’s so much opportunity here to try to get new comic book fans that’s missed. Overall, the episodes are solid and I’d have no issues sitting a kid down to watch them. Here’s hoping the eventual complete season one release offers a bit more in the extras area.

DC has released a new Plastic Man short promoting their DC Nation block of cartoons. Featuring Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice, plus various shorts featuring DC characters, the block debuts March 3 bringing back the awesomeness that was Saturday morning cartoons.
I’ve never seen an episode of Young Justice before. I’ve caught glimpses of it on television and have only heard good things. So, I jumped at the chance to check out some episodes, even if it’s the latter half of a season. The Young Justice: Season One V. 2
Covering four episodes, Schooled, Infiltrator, Denial and Downtime, the series follows the young super heroes as they learn from the greats. The team made up of Robin, Superboy, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Miss Martian and Artemis all have personality that jumps off of the screen. The episodes are all fun and see the team taking on Amazon, Chesire, Klarion the Witch Boy and Black Manta and they don’t drip with lessons of the week.
The art is fresh and exciting and the series can be enjoyable by kids and adults. I came away wanting to see more.
The issue I have with the DVD isn’t the price (you can find it for $12 for the four episodes), it’s the lack of extras on the DVD. There’s some trailers and that’s it. This is a blown opportunity for Warner Bros. Where’s the advertisement for DC comics or some free Young Justice digital comics? There’s little cost to add these, and it’s not like the disc is stuffed with the material that’s on it.
Overall, the episodes are solid and I’d have no issues sitting a kid down to watch them. Here’s hoping the eventual complete season one release offers a bit more in the extras area.
