Marvel teases Midnight with Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Benjamin Percy involved

Marvel has teased a new publishing line launching this fall, “Midnight.” While the announcement didn’t give much, it is believed Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Benjamin Percy will be involved in this project. Both shared the teaser image. The two are currently working together on Dungeons of Doom.

This new line is believed to be taking over the gap left by the end of the current Ultimate Universe and obviously has a bit more of a horror take. Percy is no stranger to the genre nor is Johnson whose Infernal Hulk perfectly blends classic superhero with horror. Percy announced on May 5 he had signed a two-year contract with Marvel while Johnson went exclusive with the publisher in November 2025.

Marvel has had a mixed history with horror, having published some classics like Tomb of Dracula and an attempt at a line of books in the 90s, like Midnight Sons, but since there’s been a series of miniseries focused on some of the key characters.
