Due out in 2020, DC Comics has announced Strange Adventures which features Adam Strange by Tom King, Mitch Gerads, and Doc Shaner.
This is the latest project by King and Gerads whose Mister Miracle dominated the Eisner Awards at San Diego Comic-Con.
It’s unknown the exact length or form of the project but King and Gerads have been releasing award-winning 12-issue maxi-series so it’d make little sense to change up that magic formula.
Guesses as to what’s being teased? We’ll find out what Marvel has planned soon!
We knew a movie of The Walking Dead was coming but at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 we got the first teaser trailer.
The news? It’s coming only to theaters. Initially, when the films were announced it was expected the films would air on AMC with a theatrical run. Plans seem to have changed a bit…
Rick Grimes returns.
DC has revealed Jock’s final cover artwork for The Batman Who Laughs #7 (on sale July 31) and new “Year of the Villain” promo artwork ahead of Batman/Superman #1 (on sale August 28).
The first arc of Batman/Superman will follow the two titular heroes as they hunt down six infected heroes in the DCU—people revealed to be infected by the Batman Who Laughs with a deadly pathogen that violently transforms them into the evilest versions of themselves. The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel must journey into the depths of Gotham City to learn which of their fellow heroes has been transformed into the horrifying horseman of their most dangerous and deranged foe ever.
But who are the Infected? Fans have already been shown a sneak preview of Batman/Superman #1, revealing that The Batman Who Laughs’ plot is bigger than either the Caped Crusader or the Man of Steel realized and showing the devious killer’s first sentinel: a jacked-up, Dark Multiverse-infected Shazam! Who else has been targeted for similar transformations?

It wasn’t that long ago that we learned writer Tom King‘s run on Batman would be shifting to a new max-series Batman/Catwoman. From the initial announcement the series sounds like it’ll be the continuation of King’s intended conclusion to his Batman run focusing on the relationship between Batman and Catwoman.
We now have a new teaser for the series featuring a very interesting character… Phantasm!
Phantasm debuted in the 1993 animated film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. The story revolves around an early relationship in Bruce Wayne’s life.
The character has appeared in Batman Beyond 2.0 and as an action figure as well in comics in Batman & Robin Adventures Annual #1 in 1996.
We’ll find out more in January 2020.
