One day, a dying witch gifts her with a mysterious magic wand and her life changes forever! Now, the human world is hers to play with… Or will this land of fear and corruption prove too much for the fledgling witch?

In a time of witch hunts, Ravina must have her wits about her!

Ravina The Witch? reminds of the classic Grimm Fairytales a little bit. It shares a lot of the atmosphere with that set of stories. Writer Junko Mizuno manages to deliver and include a complex and interesting main character. She manages to have some interesting, and at times hilarious adventures as she explores man’s world.

I really liked the art style (Mizuno does double duty and provides the art as well). It manages to create a proper mix of dark, and light atmosphere when the story calls for it. It also does a solid job in capturing the fairytale atmosphere but in a subtle way.

Junko Mizuno’s Violet Soda Lady Dunny is Coming Soon

Kidrobot has announced the official release of Junko Mizuno’s Violet Soda Lady 8” Dunny.

Following the sold out release of Berry Chocolate Lady at San Diego Comic Con, Kidrobot and Junko Mizuno will release Violet Soda Lady 8” Dunny on Friday, July 31st. In celebration of the release, Junko Mizuno will be signing at Kidrobot San Francisco on July 31st from 6pm-9pm.

Violet Soda Lady will retail for $100 and be available in stores and online at Kidrobot.com on Friday, July 31st at 9:00AM MST.

SDCC 2015: Kidrobot and Junko Mizuno’s Violet Soda Lady and SDCC Exclusive Revealed

Kidrobot and Junko Mizuno have revealed the long awaited Violet Soda Lady 8” Dunny with a special San Diego Comic Con Exclusive colorway, Berry Chocolate Lady.

Berry Chocolate Lady will be available at Kidrobot’s San Diego Comic Con booth in limited quantities. Violet Soda Lady will release in stores and online this July. Both pieces will retail for $100.

Junko Mizuno will be on site at Kidrobot’s San Diego Comic Con booth #5645 to sign autographs and feature Berry Chocolate Lady.

SDCC 2015: Kidrobot’s Screen Prints & Signings

Kidrobot SDCC 2Kidrobot’s 2015 San Diego Comic-Con autograph signing schedule will feature Junko Mizuno, Frank Kozik, Brandt Peters, Scott Tolleson, and Chris 51 from A&E’s hit series Epic Ink.

Frank Kozik, Brandt Peters, and Scott Tolleson will feature limited edition numbered and signed premium screen prints available for purchase at the booth. Prints will be produced in runs of less than 200 pieces and commemorate Kidrobot’s 2015 SDCC appearance. Each screen print will retail for $25. As a special San Diego Comic Con feature, the first 50 fans in line for each of their signings will receive a free screen print.

Junko Mizuno will be on site to sign autographs and feature her yet to be announced limited edition San Diego Comic Con exclusive Dunny. Stay tuned for more details. Chris 51 will give fans a unique opportunity to enter to win one of his famous mash-up geek-culture original oil paintings.
