Hallucinogenic horror Odin #1 has Sold Out and Gets a Second Printing

From the shadow-drenched halls of horror arrives Odin, the bone-chilling new series from Image Comics and Tiny Onion that is forged by a pantheon of comic book titans: five-time Eisner Award winning writer James Tynion IV, battle-savvy co-writer Marguerite Bennett, thunderously talented artist Letizia Cadonici, multiple Eisner Award winning color enchantress Jordie Bellaire, cunning letterer Tom Napolitano, design warrior Dylan Todd, and fire-eyed editor Steve Foxe. Together the creative team has invoked a series launch so savage it has spread across the readers of Midgard like Ragnarök fire and sold out completely at the distributor level. Image Comics has summoned a rapid reprint this week to stave off the wave of reorders rolling in at the gate.

Odin follows Adela, a thrill-seeking journalist who goes undercover to report on a band of Neo Nazis. She will do anything for the perfect story, including heading into the frozen forests of Norway with Neo Nazi punks who seek Odin to achieve their promised white supremacist destiny. But what awaits them in the woods is far older and stranger than any of them can comprehend, and no gods are coming to answer their prayers. Green Room meets Midsommar with a touch of The Ritual in this relentless hallucinogenic thriller that leaves absolutely no taboo unbroken.

Odin #1, second printing (Lunar Code 0426IM8457) will be available at comic book stores on Wednesday, June 24.

Odin #1

Odin invites readers into a Dark World by James Tynion IV, Marguerite Bennett, and Letizia Cadonici. Get an early look!

An advance preview of Odin invites readers to step into the dark world of the original limited series co-created by five-time Eisner Award-winning writer James Tynion IV, bestselling writer Marguerite Bennett, and fan-favorite artist Letizia Cadonici. The nine-issue series, produced by Tynion’s production house Tiny Onion and published by Image Comics, follows an undercover journalist reporting on a group of deluded Neo-Nazis foolishly seeking glory and instead facing the wrath of Norse gods. Green Room meets Midsommar with a touch of The Ritual in this relentless, no-holds-barred horror story.

The new preview, sharing the beginning of Odin #1, starts with a visual punch: Odin disemboweled and disfigured, hangs from a tree, being pecked by a group of crows. The next pages offer a glimpse into the journey of journalist Adela, showing her infiltration of a Neo-Nazi punk band who are following a skin map to what they believe to be their promised land where they can rise to full white supremacist power. The series will follow in the frozen footsteps of thrill-seeking Adela as she ventures into the Norwegian forest with the Neo Nazi punks. But what awaits them in the woods is far older and stranger than any of them can comprehend, and no gods are coming to answer their prayers.

Debuting this May, Odin features hallucinogenic colors by Eisner Award winner Jordie Bellaire and sharp letters by the acclaimed Tom Napolitano. The series is cleverly designed by Dylan Todd and edited by horror pros Steve Foxe and Eric Harburn.

Odin will have gorgeous main covers by celebrated comic and album artist Alex Eckman-Lawn, who is illustrating Cover A for the full series. The series will also spotlight variants by series artist Cadonici and all-star artists like Christian Ward, Martin Simmonds, Jae Lee, Annie Wu, Tula Lotay, Sam Wolfe Connelly, Wes Craig, and more.

Exquisite Corpses’ Rascal Randy Gets the Spotlight this July

Writer Tyler Boss, the scribe of Image Comics/Skybound bestselling series Universal Monsters: The Phantom of the Opera, and artist Dylan Burnett are joining forces for a new Exquisite Corpses spinoff featuring the terrifying character Rascal Randy. This five issue limited series produced by Tiny Onion reveals the origin story of the iconic bunny mascot killer and will hit shelves this July from Image Comics.

The sleepy little town of Aurora Springs, NY, has exactly one claim to fame: it’s the birthplace of Rascal Randy. Not the man in the suit—that man has never mattered. He was no one until he put the mascot head on for the first time… not until he felt the life leave someone’s body with his thickly furred gloves wrapped around them.

No, Aurora Springs is the birthplace of Rascal Randy the rabbit, who, once upon a time, was poised to become the greatest animated character this country had ever seen—until greed and tragedy changed his trajectory forever.

Witness the events before season one of Exquisite Corpses that made Rascal Randy New Jersey’s selection for America’s deadliest game. When chaos comes hopping into town, the secret sordid history of Rascal Randy will finally be revealed.

The launch issue will also feature highly collectible covers by top-tier artists such as Javier Pulido, Riley Rossmo, Brett Bean, and series artist Michael Walsh. Walsh’s variant will come polybagged with a collectible trading card tied to the soon-to-launch Exquisite Corpses: The Game, which he co-created with the Tiny Onion team; the game will be available to back on Kickstarter this May.

Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, July 8.

Tiny Onion promotes Eric Harburn to Director of Narrative & Editor-in-Chief in an Expansion into Multimedia Entertainment

Eric Harburn

Led by CEO & Founder James Tynion IV, production house Tiny Onion is promoting publishing industry veteran Eric Harburn from Director of Editorial to Director of Narrative & Editor-in-Chief to reflect the production house’s expansion into multimedia entertainment. In addition to the continued management of Tiny Onion’s publishing output of high caliber comics and graphic novels, Harburn will now lead the new Narrative department, representing storytelling across television, film, and games.

Harburn led the development and production of Tiny Onion’s first major comic book project, Tynion and Michael Walsh’s Exquisite Corpses, in collaboration with Image Comics and a “Corpse Crew” of acclaimed horror creators. The series has become a massive success as the highest-selling original IP launch of 2025 in the comic book direct market, selling more than 600,000 copies to date. Exquisite Corpses will be headed to the big screen. Tiny Onion’s robust slate of projects grew to developing two live action feature films with Lyrical Media, with the other one based on the short film Room Service co-created by Tynion, artist Elsa Charretier and director PK Colinet. Harburn has co-edited Exquisite Corpses since day one with fellow Tiny Onion editors Steve Foxe and Greg Lockard; in his new role, he will continue to oversee publishing of the comics as well as supervise storytelling within the world across mediums, including the feature film and the tabletop card game, soon to launch.

Tiny Onion plans to shepherd existing comic properties into multimedia opportunities in the film, television, and game spaces, while also continuing to usher in brand new entries in their publishing slate such as In Your Skin, the newly announced Bollywood body horror comic book series co-created by Aditya Bidikar and Som. The company’s Artists in Residence program, which gives creators a platform to tell their own original stories, includes Bidikar, Eisner Award-winning colorist Jordie Bellaire (Exquisite Corpses), Tyler Boss (You’ll Do Bad Things), and GLAAD Award nominee Tate Brombal (Everything Dead & Dying).

A 2023 Publisher’s Weekly “Star Watch” nominee and former Executive Editor at BOOM! Studios, Eric Harburn has spent the past fifteen years as an editor and curator of the industry’s top original series, working on more than ninety unique comic book properties, shepherding countless titles to critical and commercial acclaim. During his time at BOOM! Studios, Harburn and Tynion developed the Eisner Award-winning hit series Something is Killing the Children—co-created by Tynion and artist Werther Dell’Edera—which has sold over two million copies worldwide. It was recently announced that Blumhouse has optioned the series to adapt it both for film and for an animated television series with Tynion attached to produce with BOOM! Studios.

During his tenure at BOOM! Studios, Harburn also edited Tynion’s other works, including GLAAD Media Award winner The Woods, a sci-fi thriller co-created with artist Michael Dialynas. In December, it was announced that Tiny Onion optioned the title for adaptation to kick off the production house’s adult animation slate, which also includes an adaptation of Tynion and Fernando Blanco’s Image Comics series W0rldtr33 at Netflix, and original comedy series Tipsy Dragon. Tiny Onion brought aboard Casey Gonzalez as Director of Multimedia in December to oversee development of The Woods and the company’s animated projects. In addition to The Woods, Harburn edited Tynion and Michael Dialynas’ GLAAD Media Award-nominated young adult fantasy graphic novel series Wynd, and Tynion and Eryk Donovan’s fan-favorite Internet horror series Memetic.

Harburn also worked on Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR, the highest-selling original comic book launch in nearly thirty years, shattering Kickstarter records, and which is in development as a live-action feature film and anime spinoff series. A frequent collaborator with Eisner Award-winning writer Ram V, Harburn is editing the new global graphic novel series Deicidium and edited The Many Deaths of Laila Starr, the Ignatz Award-winning, Eisner, Harvey, and Ringo Award-nominated bestselling series created by V and Filipe Andrade, as well as its lauded spiritual followup Rare Flavours.
