When Izzy and Marcus are paired together to perform a swing dance routine for a gym project, it’s no surprise that everything goes up in flames, including their grade in the class. Until their gym teacher proposes a deal: if the pair performs the swing routine in the upcoming talent show, they’ll receive extra credit and a passing grade. They accept. . . but Izzy has her own proposal for Marcus: this time, she gets to be the lead.

Join Jackson Wilder as he navigates the typical challenges of childhood – resisting bedtime, dodging mysterious leftovers, and more. With his friend Irwin the Thylacine and their magical cardboard Teleporter, Jackson’s love of animals and wildlife takes a wild turn. Through their adventures, Jackson discovers that even wild animals face challenges of their own. 

This new, educational series is inspired by the endless curiosity and love of learning Sarah Davidson saw in her real-life nephew Jackson. It is meant to solve what she saw as a problem with the books in his reading range: they all seemed to be either picture or list-based books. She wanted to emulate the “Science Comics” of her youth. Sarah has also worked alongside renowned wildlife ecologist Kelly Zimmerman of the Bugs Need Heroes podcast, and their shared passion for wildlife electrifies this narrative.
