Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red Present The Witcher Library Edition

The Witcher fans rejoice! Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red are making it easier than ever for The Witcher fans to catch up on the tie-in graphic novels and comics series in The Witcher Library Edition. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher is a dark fantasy RPG game series with a character-driven, non-linear story set in a gritty and living world. The Witcher games have collectively earned over 800 industry awards and have sold more than 33 million copies worldwide.

The Witcher Library Edition collects issues #1–#5 of the Witcher comic series House of Glass, Fox Children, Curse of Crows, and the Killing Monsters one-shot—and features annotations and a sketchbook section. Multiple Eisner Award-winning writer Paul Tobin pens a fantasy epic of the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, a witcher—one of the few remaining monster hunters. The Witcher Library Editionfeatures story art by Joe Querio, Piotr Kowalski, and Max Bertolini with colors by Carlos Badilla and Brad Simpson and lettering by Nate Piekos. This edition features a bonus sketchbook section and additional art by Dave Johnson, Dan Panosian, Stan Sakai, Duncan Fegredo, Simon Bisley, and a new cover by Mike Mignola. This 440-page tome retails for $49.99.

Following the critically acclaimed first series, The Witcher House of Glass, Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red are set to bring fans a new adventure of Geralt of Rivia, the legendary monster hunter from the hit video game franchise The Witcher.

From Eisner-winning writer Paul Tobin with art by Joe Querio, Fox Children will lead Geralt aboard a ship of fools, renegades, and criminals, where some passengers are more dangerous than others, but one is hiding a hideous secret!

Dark Horse Comics proudly announces its next hit video game tie-in series, The Witcher, based on the critically acclaimed games by CD Projekt RED.

From Paul Tobin, the Eisner Award–winning writer of Bandette, with art by Joe Querio and covers by Dave Johnson, comes a riveting comic based on The Witcher, a series of dark fantasy RPGs with a character-driven, nonlinear story set in a gritty living world and inspired by a series of extremely popular novels that have been translated into nineteen languages. The comic series introduces a new adventure featuring Geralt of Rivia—a witcher, one of the few remaining monster hunters.

Traveling near the edge of the Black Forest, in the land of the Angren, monster hunter Geralt meets a widowed man whose dead and murderous wife resides in an eerie mansion known as the House of Glass, a place of endless rooms where horror waits around every corner. Geralt will have to use all his witcher prowess to solve the manor’s mystery and survive.

With the two Witcher games already available, fans can get to know Geralt even before the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2014 on PC, Play Station4, and Xbox One. The Witcher games have collectively earned over 270 awards and sold more than five million copies worldwide.

BOOM! Studios has announced that in less than 24 hours since its release, Six-Gun Gorilla #1 has sold out at at the distributor level and the publisher has rushed to a second printing.
