Magnetic Press Takes Brindille and Love: The Mastiff by Frédéric Brrémaud & Federico Bertolucci to Kickstarter

Magnetic Press has launched a Kickstarter for two graphic novels, Brindille and Love: The Mastiff, by Frédéric Brrémaud and Federico Bertolucci to Kickstarter. The project has already passed its goal and will end on January 7, 2021.

In Brindille, a young girl wakes up in the midst of a raging forest fire, with no memory of who she is or how she got there. After being rescued by a nearby village of elf-like creatures, she sets out on a magical journey in search of answers to questions she doesn’t even know how to ask. Along the way, she befriends a talking wolf who takes on the role of guide and guardian on this strange, epic adventure.

In Love: The Mastiff, a loyal hunting dog finds himself alone in the wild outback of Australia when his master is struck down by a poisonous snake during an expedition. Now he must make his way through the dangers and obstacles of the magnificent wilderness, relying on instincts that no amount of domestication can fully suppress…

There’s numerous tiers to pledge to including digital copies, physical copies, a retailer pledge and more.

You have until January 7 to pledge.

Love: The Lion

Illustrated by Federico Bertolucci
Written by Frédéric Brrémaud

A young lion wanders the Serengeti in search of a pride to call his own. But being alone, he is watched with cautious eyes by those families he encounters along the way, including a coalition of rival males in search of their own pride to conquer.

So the nomad searches patiently, waiting for the opportunity to claim his territory and find a new family. But loneliness can breed ferocity…

The third volume in the lavishly illustrated, award-winning series of wildlife graphic novels, each depicting a day in the life of different wild animals, told through the dramatic lens of Disney-esque storytelling, like a nature documentary in illustration.
