The One:12 Collective celebrates Batman Day 2017 with am exclusive Limited Edition Ascending Knight  Black Variant. This unique color variation pays homage to the dark knight as he first appeared in Detective Comics in 1939 while invoking a dark and menacing visage. Featuring the wide shaped cowl, shorter gloves and smaller symbol on his chest. All inspired by his original debut in the comics.

Harley Quinn Turns 25 and Promptly Takes over Batman Day

In celebration of Harley Quinn’s 25th Anniversary, this year the bubbly Super-Villain will take over DC’s annual Batman Day celebration on September 23, 2017. The announcement was made on the DC Harley Quinn: Celebrating 25 Years panel at SDCC. The panel included moderator and current Harley Quinn writer Jimmy Palmiotti, and panelists Amanda Conner, Paul Dini, Chad Hardin, Alex Sinclair, Tara Strong and more!

Harley Quinn debuted on Batman: The Animated Series in the episode “Joker’s Favor,” which originally aired in September 1992. Co-created by the acclaimed Paul Dini and Bruce Timm Harley Quinn spawned the now popular and plentiful comic series and is one of the fastest growing characters in DC history, becoming a top ten character in only the last 25 years.

DC will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harley Quinn in a big way, with key new releases in the coming months including, Harley Quinn: A Rogues Gallery – The Deluxe Cover Art Collection, Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary Special, and an oversized anniversary issue featuring Harley’s entire cast of crazy characters, Harley Quinn #25.

Batman Day 2016DC is inviting fans everywhere to get ready for Batman Day 2016 (September 17) by diving into the Dark Knight’s legendary adventures with special digital comics sales.

From September 13-19, 100 digital comics and 15-eBooks will be available for a special price during the giant “Road to Batman Day” sale. Iconic titles spanning Batman’s illustrious history through the Golden, Silver, Bronze and Modern Ages of comics will be featured! eBooks and individual issue periodicals will have a 75% discount.

On Batman Day, Bat-fans can pick-up digital collected editions of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s historic run on Batman with Batman Vol. 7: Endgame, while young fans can enjoy Batman Adventures Vol. 1 by Kelley Puckett and Ty Templeton, as both books will be on sale for $3.99 each.

DC Reveals Details for Batman Day!

Batman Day 2016Every year, DC Entertainment invites fans to celebrate the most revered Super Hero of all time on Batman Day. This year on Saturday, September 17th, generations of fans will celebrate the Caped Crusader’s remarkable legacy at festivities held at thousands of comic book retailers, bookstores, schools and libraries around the world, some of which will include free comic book giveaways and signings by some of the biggest names in comics

To commemorate Batman Day this year, fans will receive a copy of Batman #1 from this year’s DC REBIRTH written by Tom King and illustrated by David Finch, Matt Banning and Jordie Bellaire.

Major retailers including Pottery Barn Kids, Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million, as well as hundreds of schools and public libraries will host fan events with fun-filled activities at locations nationwide, and Six Flags parks across the U.S. will distribute free copies of Batman #1. Batman fans will also be able to download for free a family friendly Batman Day activity kit including activity sheets, trivia and games.

Digital readers can get in on the Batman Day fun through two, massive digital comics sales. From Sept. 13-19 the “Road to Batman Day” sale will offer 15 eBooks and 100 digital periodical issues featuring iconic Batman titles like Batman: Hush and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. eBooks will be on sale for $5.99 and periodicals will have a 75 percent discount. Then on Batman Day (9/17), Batman Vol. 7: Endgame and Batman Adventures Vol. 1 will be on sale for $3.99 each.

Celebrating Batman’s endearing legacy with generations of fans, DC Entertainment will once again fete the iconic legend with festivities at thousands of comic book retailers, bookstores, schools and libraries across the country. Retail activities include free comic book giveaways and talent signings. Confirmed signing events feature blockbuster talent like Frank Miller, Scott Snyder, Tom King, James Tynion IV, and Greg Capullo with many more to be announced.

In addition to DC Entertainment, Batman Day participating partners include many Warner Bros. divisions, as well as Warner Bros. Consumer Products licensees — Capstone Young Readers, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, DK Licensing, Bendon, and HarperCollins. These partnerships provide the unique opportunity for retail and digital promotion across various media in celebration of the Dark Knight.

The annual fan-favorite event, now in its third year, was first introduced to honor the iconic character’s 75th anniversary. Priced at $ 19.39 to celebrate the 1st appearance of Batman, each box is filled with Batman and DC Comics related merchandise. Some boxes will contain Mez-Itz, other will contain rare One:12 collective Dark Knight figures including the ultra rare Toy Fair edition never sold in stores. Some will even contain the 18inch Mega Scale Batman Mez-Itz figure sold for $200.

In honor of “Batman Day” fans will receive a free copy of Batman Endgame Special Edition #1 with an 8-page preview of the upcoming Batman and Robin Eternal. Some retailers will carry free, exclusive variant covers for Batman Endgame Special Edition #1 creating a bit of a game for the day that Batman might love.
