KAYOU + Hasbro Unveil New My Little Pony Cards to Collect, Play, and Connect

KAYOU came to the U.S. with a promise to be “Here for the Superfans.” One year after making its stateside debut at New York Comic Con, China’s No. 1 trading card company is returning alongside Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, with new My Little Pony cards and fan experiences that bring collecting, art, storytelling and play together.

The celebration extends well beyond the convention floor with three new releases for U.S. fans: My Little Pony Friendship Eternal Cards – Moon Edition 4, arriving early at NYCC before its nationwide retail release Oct. 16; Nightmare Night Trading Card Game Booster Packs, available now and featured at NYCC; and Hearth’s Warming Eve TCG Booster Packs, arriving at retail Oct. 30.

At New York Comic Con (Oct. 8–11), those new releases are just the beginning. Fans can go behind the creative process during a special “Chase the Magic” panel, witness the reveal of an original fan-created Pony transformed into a KAYOU card, score a first-of-its-kind NYCC-exclusive collectible, learn to play and compete in the My Little Pony TCG, and immerse themselves in the world of KAYOU and My Little Pony.

New KAYOU Cards Celebrate Friendship, Magic and Traditions of Equestria

KAYOU’s newest releases give My Little Pony fans more to discover across both collectible cards and TCG play.

My Little Pony Friendship Eternal Cards – Moon Edition 4 gives collectors new ways to reimagine their favorite Ponies across 162 unique cards and 10 rarity tiers, each with its own distinctive visual treatment—from dazzling rainbow forms on ZR cards to shadowed alter egos on SC cards and magical universes filled with colorful planets and shooting stars on LSR cards.

For fans who want to put their cards into play, two seasonal My Little Pony Trading Card Game Booster Packs add new cards to collect, trade and bring to their TCG starter decks:

●Nightmare Night, available now, turns Equestria’s spookiest night into a playful TCG adventure filled with mysterious creatures, Pony costumes and plenty of mischief. The release features 190 cards across 13 rarity tiers.

●Hearth’s Warming Eve, arriving Oct. 30, celebrates one of Equestria’s most cherished traditions with festive fun, cozy winter moments and the magic of friendship across 197 cards and 14 rarity tiers.

The new releases will roll out at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, TikTok Shop and select local hobby stores across the U.S. NYCC attendees can get an early look inside the KAYOU Walls of Fandom at Booth #1143.

Go Behind the Cards: “Chase the Magic” Comes Full Circle at NYCC

How does a beloved My Little Pony character or story make the leap from Equestria to a collectible card? And what happens when a lucky fan gets to create a Pony of their own?

On Thursday, Oct. 8, from 3:15–4 p.m. ET in Room 406.2, KAYOU and Hasbro will take fans behind the cards during “Chase the Magic: Celebrating One Year of KAYOU & My Little Pony,” a special panel celebrating the stories, artistry and fandom behind KAYOU’s first year of My Little Pony trading cards in the U.S.—and offering a glimpse at what comes next.

Hosted by Rubin Ervin, announcer and audience warm-up host for Family Feud, the panel will bring together David Abdelmaseih, winner of KAYOU’s inaugural Chase the Magic campaign; Cheng Chang, Head of Collectible Card Studio at KAYOU; Claire O’Sullivan, Senior Manager, Global Consumer Marketing at Hasbro; and Andy Price, comic illustrator for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Together, they’ll pull back the curtain on the journey from story to sketch to finished card, exploring how beloved My Little Pony characters and stories inspire KAYOU’s creative process – and how KAYOU transforms that inspiration into collectibles that give fans new ways to connect with the world of Equestria.

The panel will also bring KAYOU’s inaugural Chase the Magic campaign full circle as David Abdelmaseih and Andy Price unveil the oversized KAYOU collectible card featuring the original Pony they created together—a one-of-a-kind keepsake for Abdelmaseih as the campaign winner. Attendees will also get an exclusive sneak peek at what’s next for KAYOU and My Little Pony—and a first tease of what’s ahead when Chase the Magic returns in 2027.

Fans can also get to know Equestria’s newest Pony at KAYOU (Booth #1143). Meet Bannanie Bloom and follow her journey from fan-inspired idea to one-of-a-kind Pony through a special “From Sketch to Card” exhibit, featuring David Abdelmasieh’s original inspiration, Andy Price’s early sketches and the final artwork.

The Mane Six Come Together for a First-of-Its-Kind KAYOU NYCC Collectible

The Mane Six are heading back to Equestria in BOOM! Studios’ new comic series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, written by Seanan McGuire and illustrated by Amy Mebberson – and KAYOU is marking the occasion with a collectible first.

BOOM! Studios and KAYOU have teamed up to create the KAYOU × BOOM! × My Little Pony NYCC Exclusive Cover Card, the first oversized KAYOU card ever offered for purchase.

Measuring 6” x 8”—more than twice the size of a standard KAYOU card—the collectible features the Mane Six intertwined among blooming purple roses in shimmering, storybook-style artwork with celestial and ornate golden details.

Bundled with an early release copy of the new comic, which launches Nov. 11, the NYCC-exclusive collectible will be available for $25 at KAYOU (Booth #1143) and BOOM! Studios (Booth #3235) during New York Comic Con, while supplies last.
