Skybound and Image Comics have revealed that Capes #7, from writer Benito Cereno, artist/colorist Mark Englert, and letterer Rus Wooton, has sold out at the distributor level and will return to comic book shops with a second printing on June 24, 2026. 

To meet the incredible fan demand, Capes #7 returns with a brand-new cover from artist Chris Burnham and colorist Brian Reber! 

Capes #7 kicks off all-new stories exploring the most unexpected corner of the Invincible Universe with Benito Cereno and Mark Englert introducing the biggest mission in Capes history! With Invincible off-planet fighting the Viltrumite War and the new Guardians of the Globe battling The Order, now’s the time for Capes, Inc to become the face of superpowered crime-fighting. But has Bolt already made the one mistake that could doom Capes? 

The issue also includes the first appearance of Ella Mental, a new Invincible Universe character from the Invincible VS game, in the first chapter of new backup stories by Invincible creators Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker, with colors by Annalisa Leoni.  

Additionally, Capes #6 will return with a second printing and Capes #1 with a fourth printing with covers by Burnham and Reber, also on June 24.
