BOOM! Studios has revealed that Kendra Young, the iconic Slayer, will make her full First Appearance in Buffy the Vampire Slayer #11, from acclaimed writer Jordie Bellaire and artist David López, along with visionary writer and director Joss Whedon, available in January 2020.

With a NEW SLAYER in town, it’s up to TEAM KENDRA to save the day! An evil and powerful magic from the open HELLMOUTH has taken over the men of Sunnydale, and it’s up to Willow, Cordelia, and the new Chosen One, Kendra, to fend off the enthralled men of the town or there won’t be a Sunnydale for Buffy to come back to! That is . . . if she’s coming back at all.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer #11 features a main cover by Mondo illustrator Marc Aspinall, as well as variant covers by artists Kevin Wada, Ryan Inzana, and Morgan Beem, and a connecting variant cover by artist Steve Morris that connects to Angel #8 and Hellmouth #4.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer #11 will be available for sale on January 1, 2020.
