BOOM! Studios has unveiled a first look at Low Road West #1, kicking off a new five issue limited series from Eisner Award-nominated writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson, artist Flaviano and colorist Miquel Muerto about five teenage refugees trying to survive the exodus from the war-torn East Coast to the sanctuary of San Francisco.

When the young refugees are stranded in an irradiated Oklahoma wasteland, they take shelter in a ghost town that is much more than it seems. The strange, unnatural threats they face there will make them question what they think they know about death, about reality, and especially about family as they learn to rely on each other to survive.

Low Road West #1, features a main cover by Flaviano and variant cover by David Lafuente. The first issue comes to shelves September 12, 2018.
