Review: Ghoul Scouts: Night of the Unliving Undead #4

ghoul_scouts_4-digital-1Showdown at the Eastside Horror House! The Scouts battle their way to the epicenter of the zombie outbreak, but can they stop it before the town is lost forever? The fate of Full Moon Hollow rests in their hands.

This Scooby Doo-esque version of the walking dead ends leaving with questions left unanswered. One of those questions seems to be a large part of the story. Ghoul Scouts: Night of the Unliving Undead #4 does leave us with a slight preview of the series continuing in some way.  I’m extremely curious to see how the kids deal with what happens next as they try to answer those lingering questions.

I will admit the manor manages to be a stand out sight in this issue. With it looking more moss and vine then actual building it manages to amp the creep factor in superb manner. Even with that there’s another much more subtle surprise that lays in the greenhouse. I won’t spoil it but fans of certain mid 80’s horror movie may notice it and it should put a smile on your face.
