At New York Comic Con’s Vertigo panel, it was announced that New York Times best-selling author Richard Kadrey will take over writing duties on Lucifer. Holly Black, the popular young adult author who has currently been writing Lucifer, will be leaving the title in January.

Announced last month, Kadrey will join Black for Lucifer #13 this December, with a holiday special that’s naughty, nice and everything in between. The issue is a darkly festive and irreverent ode to the joy of seasonal sin and twisted Secret Santas. Get ready for some Krampus-approved fun!
