Review: Mystery Girl #3

28153

While hot on the trail of the mysterious Siberian mammoths, Trine uncovers a much deadlier conundrum that surrounds a multibillion-dollar dynasty, their ill-gotten gains, and the shadowy hit squad who have Trine and her friends in their crosshairs!

Honestly, I can’t wait for issue 4 to be released. Written by Paul Tobin, this issue was a blast to read, as Trine manages to protect her friends from the people who are also seeking the mammoth. Of course while that clearly impacts the world, it manages to unexpected consequences for Trine.

I’m curious to see how Paul Tobin concludes this story, or if Dark horse plans on releasing more of this series beyond issue four. This series has some serious growing potential as an ongoing comic book.

Artist Alberto Alburquerque continues the well detailed word, this issue is no expectation. While color is seen throughout, the artist does a wonderful job of making sure the settings are distinguishable. That allows the reader to see the different locations, while keeping them engrossed the world.
