It’s a new week and KickStarting: Comics is back with a look at how much was raised/pledged for comic projects on Kickstarter for the past week!

I realize some projects are not in US dollars, but they all will count the same regardless of origin, for now. $1 US will be the same as $1 CAD, $1 AUD, etc.

20 projects were successfully funded, which is a decrease from the previous week’s 28.

For the past week from November 17 to November 23 the statistics are:

Average goal: $5,378.50 (an increase of about $2,100 from the previous week)
Average pledged: $14,087.21 (an increase of about $7,600 from the previous week)
Average number of backers: 292.29 (an increase of about 125 from the previous week)
Average pledge: $48.20 (an increase of about $10 from the previous week)
Average percent raised:261.92% (an increase of about 65 percentage points from the previous week)
Most common given amount: $25 (952 times)
Most money from pledge level: $25 level brought in $23,800

Total pledged for the week: $197,221 (an increase of about $50,000 from the previous week)
