The biggest pop culture event of the fall is almost here, and Marvel Television will be at New York Comic Con with never-before-seen footage and exclusive announcements.

On Saturday, October 13^th at 4:15pm in Room 1E13, join Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb, as he offers an inside look at the eagerly anticipated new animated series, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., along with an Ultimate Spider-Man season 2 update.

But that’s not all…catch a sneak peek at what’s new in Marvel anime, the next Marvel Knights Animation releases, and more NYCC exclusives! This is the panel everyone will be buzzing about – don’t miss it!

Grab the family and bond over this Sunday’s brand new episode of Ultimate Spider-Man inside Marvel Universe on Disney XD! Written by Brian Michael Bendis, “For Your Eye Only” is most action-packed super spy episode yet. Plus, keep an eye out for nods to other fan favorite film franchises, shaken AND stirred throughout the episode… and this trailer!

Robot Underdog put together this Miles Morales Ultimate Spider-Man fan film and are looking for more funding to do more. The video isn’t too bad, though seems to miss the innocence portrayed in the comic, instead focusing on the action. We’ll also see how long it is before Marvel squashes this.

Marvel and David Marquez are teaming up at The Palm Restaurant. As has become a tradition between Marvel and The Palm, Marquez will add to the restaurant’s famous Marvel comic book mural  with a picture of Miles Morales, the Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. The wall already features art by John Romita SR, John Romita JR, Simone Bianchi, Mark Brooks, Leinil Yu, Humberto Ramos and more.

The Palm Restaurant is located on 615 J Street and the event takes place at 4:00PM PST on Wednesday, July 11. Stop by for food, drinks and a chance to see David work his magic as Marvel commemorates their sixth year of making history with the Palm.

Next week, Marvel Television returns to Comic Con International in San Diego and they’re coming with the biggest Super Hero television exclusives of the summer! Join Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel Television, for the Marvel Television Presents panel on Saturday, July 14 at 10:30am in Room 6BCF which includes a can’t miss Ultimate Spider-Man world premiere. DISNEY XD’S #1 ANIMATED SERIES “ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN” SWINGS TO A SECOND SEASON ON MARVEL UNIVERSE PROGRAMMING BLOCK

A second season of Marvel’s #1 animated series “Ultimate Spider-Man,” the launch series of the Marvel Universe programming block, has been ordered by Disney XD, it was announced today by David Levine, Vice President and General Manager, Disney XD Worldwide.  The debut series from Marvel Television premiered in April 2012 and to date, has more than doubled its delivery in Total Viewers, Boys 6-14, Boys 6-11 and Boys 2-11.   Marvel’s “Ultimate Spider-Man” follows the action packed adventures of New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man who joins S.H.I.E.L.D.’s exclusive training program alongside four other teens to learn what it takes to become the ultimate Super Heroes.

The TV series’ success extends to online as well where “Ultimate Spider-Man” games have held the #1 spot since their launch on DisneyXD.com.  The “Iron Spider” game reached #1 in its first week (March 18) and stayed there for five straight weeks until “Cyber-Sabotage” launched on April 19, taking over the #1 spot for the next four weeks.

In making the announcement, Levine said, “The Disney XD audience has connected with Spider-Man and his super-powered friends as they face challenges in school and with their S.H.I.E.L.D. training.  As the anchor of our Marvel Universe block, ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ season two will be back with more humor, villains and adventurous storylines that boys (and girls) will love.”

The acclaimed creative forces behind “Ultimate Spider-Man” come back for a second season.  Man of Action return to the series as Co-Executive Producers alongside Creative Consultant Paul Dini. Fans can expect even more scripts from fan favorite Consulting Producer Brian Michael Bendis, who has written every issue of the Ultimate Comics Spider-Man since its best selling launch in 1999.

The second season of “Ultimate Spider-Man” has Spidey teaming up with some of the biggest heroes in the Marvel Universe, the Avengers – Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and the Hulk. While the stakes get higher, the villains become more menacing as the young heroes encounter classic Spider-Man villains such as the Lizard and other familiar faces.
