Studios is proud to announce their worldwide launch of ELRIC: THE BALANCE LOST #1 in digital and print has spurred a sell out of first printing of ELRIC: THE BALANCE LOST #1. Written by New York Times bestselling author Chris Roberson (iZOMBIE, SUPERMAN) and drawn by white-hot artist Francesco Biagini (DINGO), ELRIC: THE BALANCE LOST is based on Michael Moorcock’s seminal fantasy creation that has long been known to comic book and fantasy fans the world over.

The second printing is being made available today through Diamond and Haven with the second printing featuring cover art by Francesco Biagini and carrying a Diamond Code of APR118234. This cover is exclusive to the print edition and will not be reproduced digitally.

BOOM! Studios launched ELRIC: THE BALANCE LOST #1 this past Wednesday with an innovative microsite www.elriccomic.com that featured the full 10 page original prelude that was included in the ELRIC FREE COMIC BOOK DAY edition. The Elric microsite encouraged fans to read the prelude, and then buy the #1 issue at their local comic shop, on their mobile device or through their browser.

News of ELRIC: THE BALANCE LOST #1 launching day-and-date was featured in over 130 newspapers across America and beyond, spurring international interest in the comic.

The first printing of this title shipped with A & B covers in a 50/50 split with art by Francesco Mattina and Francesco Biagini respectively, as well as a 1-in-10 incentive cover by Dennis Calero and a 1-in-25 incentive cover by Tim Bradstreet. The second printing cover features art by Francesco Biagini which is exclusive to that print edition.
