Vault and Post Malone tease Big Rig, Book 2: Damned

Vault and Post Malone have teased the return of the Big Rig comic series in 2026 with Big Rig, Book 2: Damned. Vault have released a piece of teaser art by Nathan Gooden, hinting at what’s to come as the Rig’s journey continues.

In the next chapter of Big Rig, Trucker, Edda, and Batu have put Lucifer and the Princess of Hell in the rearview mirror, but the bloodshed is far from finished. Satan has sent a new general to lead his invasion. As Belphegor advances through Europe on a mission to raise Hell, the Rig chases, only to end up on a collision course with an unexpected enemy: invaders from the north capitalizing on the chaos. Now, it’s a war on two fronts. And what’s worse, both enemies possess weapons that make the Rig look less like the miracle our heroes need and more like a deathtrap. Will the vehicle keeping them alive be their doom? All depends on how well Trucker can drive.

Big Rig is written by Post Malone and Adrian Wassel, drawn by Nathan Gooden, colored by Eisner-nominee Der-Shing Helmer, lettered by Jim Campbell, and designed by Tim Daniel

Vault Comics has announced Corin Howell’s Lilith will return in 2026 with an Ongoing Series

Vault Comics has announced that Corin Howell’s smash-hit sapphic horror comic book series, Lilith, will return as an ongoing series in 2026.

In the forthcoming second arc of the Lilith series, Penny’s bookstore is still a mess after the monster attack. Much to Lilith’s dismay, Michael proposes a great idea. Why not make a sexy calendar to raise funds to pay for the shop repairs? As Lilith, Michael, Penny, and Benny get to work, the four grow even closer. Lilith and Penny start making good progress on translating the book that could help get Lilith home. But what will Penelope think if she learns Lilith’s true motive—and true nature? Seems like Lilith is bound to find out when a sinister and sexy pair from her past emerges at a burlesque show.

Lilith, created by Howell, began as a genuine social media phenomenon. Howell’s Lilith illustrations have garnered millions of likes on Howell’s social platforms, making Lilith one of the most popular original illustrated characters on social media. Then in 2024, Howell & Vault partnered to publish a Lilith comic book series that became an immediate critical darling and commercial hit with multiple sell outs and new printings.

Lilith is an immortal who’s been banished from her home, a dimensional plane suspiciously similar to mankind’s idea of hell. She’s been posing as a model on Earth while secretly preying on humans. That is, until she runs into Penelope, a sweet bookstore owner with a tome that might hold the secret to returning Lilith to her home dimension.

More details about the next arc of Lilith will be revealed soon, and fans can expect to see Lilith’s triumphant return to  store shelves in 2026. In the meantime, readers can purchase the Lilith Volume 1 trade paperback at comic and book stores everywhere this October.

More Last Minute Filings in Diamond’s Chapter 11 Case Before Monday’s Hearing including Facts and Economic Interest

Monday is a big day in Diamond’s Chapter 11 case and will feature discussion of multiple motions that have yet to be decided. One of the bigger motions is Diamond’s motion to approve procedures for sale or other disposition of consigned inventory. In short, Diamond wants to sell inventory from publishers to help pay back it’s loan from the bank. There’s dispute as to who owns that property.

Last minute filings are coming in before the hearing begins.

A group of publishers that includes Aspen, Black Mask Studios, DSTLRY, Dynamic Forces/Dynamite, Heavy Metal Entertainment, Magnetic Press, Massive Publishing, Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group, Panini UK, Punk Bot Comic Books/Alien Books, The Penn State University/Graphic Mundi, Titan Publishing, Vault Comics, and Dark Horse have submitted a document featuring the “Disclosable Economic Interest in Case.”

What each publisher has in value is listed out. The grand total is over $1.241 million worth of inventory with the most from Titan Publishing with $413,898.17 and least is Heavy Metal Entertainment’s $363.37.

Also, a document that features agreed upon “facts and authenticity of exhibits” between JPMorgan Chase Bank and the Consignment Group has also been released.

It has information like agreements between Diamond and the Publishers and more interesting bits.

Here’s some of the highlights:

  1. “the Consignors and not the Debtors were to pay all personal property taxes on the consigned stock that the Consignors delivered to the Debtors; and that the Debtors sent to the Consignors, on several different occasions, correspondence indicating that the Consignors were responsible for paying personal property taxes to the State of Mississippi and/or DeSoto County, Mississippi, because the Consignors owned the stock delivered to the Debtors.”
  2. “JPM stipulates and agrees that it was aware of the fact that the Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc., debtor (“Distributor”) dealt in consigned goods; and that it had actual knowledge of the Distributor’s participation in consignment transactions during the period from its initial advance of funds to the Debtors through the present.”
  3. The loan documents between JPMorgan and Diamond are all authentic.

The first two points might be important in that the first one indicates it was the publishers who paid taxes on the product, not Diamond, strengthening proof of their ownership. The second point is important in that it shows JPMorgan was aware that Diamond sold consigned goods when it made a loan, a point of contention at various stages.
