A first look at Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron

In the lead up to San Diego Comic-Con, Entertainment Weekly has their special issue discussing a lot of what we’ll be buzzing about next week (and the months to come). On the cover though, we’re given a first look at Ultron, as well as Iron Man’s new armor, and a slightly redesigned uniform for Captain America, all appearing in next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In the movie, actor James Spader will be providing motion capture and the voice of the villain Ultron. Ultron’s origin is changed around, as confirmed in this issue. Instead of being created by Hank Pym, who has yet to appear in the Marvel cinematic universe, this version looks like he’ll be created by Tony Stark, as the next version of his automated Iron Man suits. This has been a long time rumor, that’s been confirmed in EW’s issue.

I expect a lot more at this year’s SDCC, it’ll be fun what’s in store, especially if this is what’s been revealed.
