Stand Against Tyranny with Yojimbot Volume 2: Nights of Rust

Dark Horse Books continues the first print English presentation of Yojimbot with Yojimbot Volume 2: Nights of Rust by writer and artist Sylvain Repos with colorist Noiry. The post-apocalyptic dystopian story, translated and localized by Matt Maden, takes readers to a world where robots reign supreme. On a Japanese theme park deserted island, a group of robots who live by the code of the samurai— The Yojimbots—choose to stand against tyranny and help a human boy in danger.

Previously in Yojimbot, aided by a mysterious robot, Hiro and the Yojimbots miraculously escaped the vicious attacks by the brutal Topu and his drones. For the last several months Hiro has been hiding out, working tirelessly to charge and repair his friends. But Hiro can’t hide forever. He must venture out once again to find a way off of the island—and this time, he has a plan. But unfortunately for Hiro and his companions, Topu has plans of his own.

The Lake Como Comic Art Festival has announced more artists who will be appearing at the 2025 event including first time guests Ivan Bigarella, J. Scott Campbell, Tomm Coker, Yannick Corboz, Werther Dell’Edera, Lee Garbett, Puppeteer Lee, Tanya Lehoux, Rachta Lin, Warren Louw, Jon J. Muth, Joe Quinones, Sylvain Repos, Darick Robertson, Marco Rudy, Zoe Thorogood, and Federico Vicentini along with returning guests Mirka Andolfo, Mahmud Asrar, Simone Bianchi, Pierangelo Boog, Mark Brooks, Elena Casagrande, Carla Cohen, Giorgio Comolo, Jeff Dekal, Gabriele Dell’Otto, Riccardo Federici, Adi Granov, Jock, David Mack, Alex Maleev, Enrico Marini, Lucio Parillo, Mark Raats, Humberto Ramos, Liam Sharp, Martin Simmonds, Pepe Valencia, and Olivier Vatine.

The celebrated art festival offers fans and collectors an intimate opportunity to meet with and purchase original art from world renowned artists at a luxury destination in Italy. The Lake Como Comic Art Festival begins Friday May 16th, with an opening reception overlooking the magnificent lake and gardens of the historic Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Lake Como Italy. The festival will run for two full days, Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18th. The Lake Como Comic Art Festival offers three ticketing levels: a 2 Day Pass, an All-Access Pass, and for those looking for something extra special there is a VIP Experience level that includes an original sketch by Alex Ross or Bill Sienkiewicz. The exclusive sketch will be randomly selected and will only be available for pickup in person at the show. This level also includes entry to the highly coveted opening reception. Darak’s Loyalty is Tested in Void Rivals #14

Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro have revealed an impressive lineup of variant covers alongside interior pages from Void Rivals #14, the next issue of the hit series from the Oblivion Song team of Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici, along with colorist Patricio Delpeche, and letterer Rus Wooton. The all-new chapter of the epic space opera hits comic book shops on November 27, 2024.

While attempting to flee a robot-inhabited island, Hideo and his son Hiro are attacked by a troop of armored humans. When Hideo sacrifices himself to save his son, a lone robot-samurai, called a Yojimbot, stands between Hiro and his death. Throughout their journey to escape the island, the robot-and-child duo are joined by other Yojimbots willing to protect Hiro against the hazards of the ruined island to find the mysterious “rights holder” who may hold the key to Hiro’s safety. But more dangerous foes lie between Hiro and his freedom…
