That’s a drop of 48.8% from the previous weekend and lifted the film to $342.1 million domestically. Internationally, the film earned $64.9 million over the week to bring its gross to $461.1 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $803.2 million after just 3 weeks. The original Doctor Strange earned $677.8 million worldwide in 2016.

In second place was Downton Abbey: A New Era, the follow up to the 2019 feature film. It earned a little over $16 million in its first weekend domestically and grossed $35.7 million internationally. Worldwide, the film has grossed $51.7 million.

The Bad Guys slipped to third place adding $6.1 million to its domestic total. It has now earned $74.4 million after five weeks. Over the week, the film grossed about $8.5 million to bring its international total to $107.8 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $182.2 million.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 slipped one spot to come in fourth. The film grossed a little over $3.9 million to bring its domestic total to a little over $181 million. Over the week, the film grossed about $14.5 million internationally to bring that to $194 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed a bit over $375 million.

Men debuted and wrapped up the top five with about $3.3 million domestically. International numbers have not been returned.

Internationally, the film grossed about $131.2 million over the week to bring that to $396.2 million. That has brought the film to just under $688.1 million after two weeks.

Domestically, the film dropped 67.5% over the past week’s earnings which could mean a few things. The large opening frontloaded the film and the hardcore individuals saw it and didn’t go for a second viewing. The film also had a bit of mixed reviews, so it could be negative reviews that caused it. Either way, it should be interesting to see how the film does from here and what the legs are especially as more blockbusters start rolling out.

In second place was The Bad Guys which earned $6.9 million to bring its domestic total to $66.3 million. Internationally, the film added about $8.7 million over the week to bring that to $99.3 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $165.6 million.

The first film earned $232.6 million domestically and $445.2 million internationally for a worldwide gross of $677.8 million 2016. It opened with $85.1 million.

The film has had mixed reviews from audiences so it should be very interesting to see what legs this one has.

The film has grossed more than the original which debuted in 2020.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore held on to third place with an estimated $8.3 million. After three weeks, the film has grossed $79.6 million. Over the week, the film earned about $36.8 million to bring it to $250 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $329.6 million.

The Northman was in fourth place with an estimated $6.3 milloin to bring its domestic total to $22.8 million. Internationally, the film earned about $7.3 million over the week to bring that to $18.8 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $41.6 million.

It’s possible the franchise is showing wear for a whole host of reasons and it should be interesting to see Warner Bros. direction for the franchise when this film wraps up its run. Internationally, the film has been open for a bit in some countries and has earned $150.4 million delivering a worldwide total of $193.4 million.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 dropped to second place adding $30 million to its total to bring its domestic earnings to $119.6 million. The international total has been keeping pace and over the week added about $40.2 million to bring that to $112.2 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $231.8 million.

The Lost City held on to third place adding $6.5 million to its total. Domestically, the film has grossed $78.6 million. The international total has remained unchanged at $9.7 million for a worldwide gross of $88.3 million.

Morbius dropped 73.9% in its second week and earned $10.2 million. Domestically, the film has grossed $57.1 million after two weeks. Internationally, the film earned $24.4 million over the week to lift that total to $69.3 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $126.4 million.

The Lost City came in third place earning $9.2 million domestically in its third week. The film has grossed $68.9 million domestically so far. Over the week, the film grossed $2.7 million internationally to bring that total to $9.7 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $78.6 million.
