Limerence Press’s ‘Oh Joy Sex Toy’ Secures Support From Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette and The Magic Wand

Limerence Press and Oni Press have announced that Erika Moen and Matthew Nolan’s widely acclaimed Oh Joy Sex Toy, the free weekly sex education webcomic, has secured support from Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette and The Magic Wand personal massager.

Oh Joy Sex Toy debuted in April 2013 and updates every Tuesday, covering everything sex-related, from sexuality and the sex industry, to toys, workshops, birth control and much more. With the aid of guest contributors giving as many perspectives as possible, Oh Joy Sex Toy strives to be relevant to a wide variety of genders, body types, and sexualities. The first volume was published by Limerence Press in November 2016.

Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is the largest non-profit family planning and reproductive rights organization in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Oni Announces New Imprint Limerence Press, an Adult Line of Erotic and Sex Education Comics

Oni Press has announced Limerence Press, a new erotic and sex education comics imprint focused on positive, diverse, and approachable stories that reflect a wide variety of emotional and intimate experiences. Limerence Press is launching with printed editions of volumes 1–3 of Oh Joy Sex Toy, a popular sex education and sex toy review webcomic by creators by Erika Moen and Matthew Nolan. Ari Yarwood will be the managing editor for the line.

As part of the deal, Limerence Press will be printing Moen and Nolan’s Oh Jo Sex Toy Volume 3 which was funded through Kickstarter. This helps decrease costs for the creative team.

Future titles will be announced this summer.

Oh Joy Sex Toy Volume 1 and Volume2 will come to comic shops October 5 for $29.99 and Oh Joy Sex Toy Volume 3 will hit shelves November 9.
