A New Era of Ms. Marvel as Saladin Ahme Takes Over for G. Willow Wilson

Marvel has announced that this spring, Eisner Award–winner Saladin Ahmed and rising star Minkyu Jung will take the reins of one of Marvel’s most beloved new characters in The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #1!

Ahmed’s taking over means long time writer G. Willow Wilson will move on from the character ending her tenure as writer. Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, was introduced in 2014 and went on to star in her own series as well as others like Champions and Marvel Rising. She was created by Wilson, Adrian Alphon, Stephen Wacker, and Sana Amanat.

The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #1 features a main cover by Eduard Petrovich and variants by Elsa Charretier and Babs Tarr. You can find it on shelves March 13, 2019.
