Skybound announce the Final Installment Of The Lastman Series

Skybound and Image Comics have announced the release of the epic conclusion of the Lastman series from the team of Balak, Michaël Sanlaville, and Bastien Vivès. Lastman Book Six, containing volumes 11 + 12 of the original French series, will be available everywhere comic books are sold on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. 

Skybound’s editions of Lastman collect the action-packed series as a complete set in English for the first time, featuring full color pages to open each volume that will be followed by striking black and white pages. Each of the six books feature all-new remastered translations and backmatter including additional series art.

Lastman Book Six (ISBN: 978-1-5343-2584-5 I MSRP: $24.99) will be available at booksellers, along with digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play on Tuesday November 19, 2024, and at comic book shops and everywhere comic books are sold on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Skybound Announces The Fifth Installment of The Lastman

Skybound has announced the release of the epic fifth installment of the Lastman series from the powerhouse team of Balak, Michaël Sanlaville, and Bastien Vivès. Lastman Book Five, containing volumes 9 + 10 of the original French series, will be available everywhere on July 16, 2024. 

Skybound’s editions of Lastman collect the action-packed series as a complete set in English for the first time, featuring full color pages to open each volume that will be followed by striking black and white pages. Each of the six books will feature all-new remastered translations and backmatter including additional series art. 

On what’s coming in Book Five and beyond, editor Amanda LaFranco says, “Lastman is one of those series that continues to inspire in its creativity. Every time you think you know where this series is going, the team takes a new direction and expands this epic saga. As we now begin to head towards the series conclusion, Adrian and his friends will also need to prepare for things they never expected!” 

After an explosion rocks the home base of the insurgent gang, The Red Eagles, not everyone from the Valley is making it back alive. Adrian, Richard, and their friends’ involvement with the troublesome gang leads to their arrest in Paxtown, where Richard once again must ask his ex-flame Tomie Katana – now the mayor – for help. Meanwhile, in the Valley, a mysterious guest from the depths of the Rift has arrived, and his secret motives and interest in Adrian may bring about the very ruin of the realm.

The Forged #1 (Image Comics) – In the 11th Millennium of the rule of the Eternal Empress, a squad of planet-smashing super soldiers find their routine mission to be anything but. These are the Forged. They take no prisoners. Concept sounds cool and Greg Rucka, Eric Trautmann, and Mike Henderson being the creative team has us more excited.

Harrower #2 (BOOM! Studios) – The first issue kicked off what felt like a great horror franchise and we’re excited to see the body count rise and find out more about what’s going on.

Hellcat #1 (Marvel) – Patsy is the prime suspect in a murder and must prove her innocence. We’re pumped to see where this one goes.

Lastman Vol. 2 (Image Comics/Skybound) – The fantasy/martial arts series continues in this new edition from Skybound. Combining two volumes in each release, we get to experience even more action with each!

Ms. Davis (Fantagraphics) – A graphic biography about the 1960s revolutionary.

No/One #1 (Image Comics) – Part of the Massive-verse, ten months ago, the Richard Roe murders shocked the city of Pittsburgh. In the months since, the killings have sparked a dangerous political movement, copycat killers, and a masked vigilante who’s still determined to hold the powerful accountable.

Spy Superb #3 (Dark Horse Comics) – The series wraps up and each issue has featured laughs and tons of spy action.

Star Trek: Defiant #1 (IDW Publishing) – Worf in charge of the U.S.S. Defiant again? Yeah, we’re in.

Skybound’s editions of Lastman collect the action-packed series as a complete set in English for the first time, featuring full color pages to open each volume that will be followed by striking black and white pages. Each of the six books features all-new remastered translations and backmatter including additional series art. 

Against all odds, Adrian Velba has won the Valley of Kings tournament…but has been betrayed by his partner, Richard Aldana! Now the hunt is on, as Adrian and his mother Marianne must travel through the Rift into unknown lands to find Richard…and will soon discover that nothing is as they expected.
