Morbius is the best chance against the vampire invasion in Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt

Among the Marvel Universe’s blood suckers, one stands out as the most tragic—MORBIUS, THE LIVING VAMPIRE! When vampires legions unite and usher in the eternal night, Morbius’ unique self-inflicted bloodlust may hold the key to reversing it—or strengthening it!

Spider-Man will be tasked to find his iconic vampiric villain in Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt, a new tie-in series spinning out of Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz’s Blood Hunt crossover event. Written by Justina Ireland and drawn by artist Marcelo Ferreira, Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt will see Spidey team up with Misty Knight and the Lizard to rescue Morbius—who has already fallen into the vampire overlord’s clutches!

Spidey’s mission in Blood Hunt has become clear and, of course, it involves his old friend Michael Morbius. After he discovers the importance of his fanged foe to the vampire’s overall plans, Peter will have to decide if he needs to take him out or save him!

The Marvel Universe has always strived to reflect the “world outside your window” with diverse and inclusive storytelling. Throughout the year, the breadth of those stories are highlighted in a special way in a variety of Marvel’s Voices one-shots, and later this December, Marvel’s Voices: Avengers #1 will arrive for the first time! The one-shot will celebrate the Avengers 60th anniversary in a unique way by inviting all-star creators to tell stories centered around the Avengers legacy and mission. Fans can get their first look at these stories today with never-before-seen interior artwork!

In addition to backup stories in some of Marvel’s most popular titles, the ongoing Marvel’s Voices Infinity Comics on Marvel Unlimited, and the Marvel’s Voices podcast, the program has evolved this past year with creators from across the industry bringing their unique perspectives and artistry to specific corners of the Marvel Universe. Dark Horse reveals all-new all-ages Star Wars original graphic novels

Dark Horse Comics and Lucasfilm Publishing have announced the launch of a new Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories original graphic novel line. Each volume will stand alone as a brilliant showcase of some of Star Wars’s most iconic characters. The full line-up includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, Rey, General Grievous, Kylo Ren, and Darth Vader. Each volume will be lovingly crafted by Star Wars all-star authors including George Mann, New York Times bestselling writers Cecil Castellucci, Justina Ireland, and Michael Moreci –just to name a few! Art, colors, and letters are also provided by a stellar cast of Star Wars creators new and old including Andrea Mutti, Lucas Marangon, Michael Atiyeh, and Nick Brokenshire, who each bring their unique style to the Star Wars comics universe. Covers for the Hyperspace Stories OGN line will be illustrated by superstar artist Michael Cho.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, which landed in theaters May 19, 1999, this unique series of books will kick off with Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories–Qui-Gon, written by George Mann with art by Andrea Mutti and Gigi Baldassini, arriving in April 2024. 

Qui-Gon Jinn is one of the most revered Jedi of all time. From his youth as a gifted Padawan under Count Dooku, to his years as a skilled Jedi Master and one of the most respected Force wielders in the history of the Jedi Order, his story is truly remarkable. This particular tale looks at a series of recurring events from across his life, slowly bringing together clues over the years to help Qui-Gon complete the puzzle of some of the Force’s many mysterious followers: The Brotherhood of the Ninth Door. Secret Force abilities could make them a great ally to the Jedi, or a powerful enemy. Master Qui-Gon and his eager young Padawan learner, Obi-Wan Kenobi, must uncover their secrets before they fall into the wrong hands! 

Featuring a cover by award-winning artist Michael Cho, Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories Qui-Gon Jinn spans 80 pages and is a standard comic size (6.625” x 10.1875”) original graphic novel, which will arrive in bookstores April 23, 2024 and comic shops on April 24, 2024. SDCC 2023: Greg Capullo returns to Marvel with Variant Covers

At San Diego Comic-Con, retailers attended an exclusive lunch hosted by Diamond Comics where they got the inside scoop from Marvel’s VP of Print & Digital Publishing David Gabriel and Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski! Amidst exciting announcements for new titles, collections, and variant covers, retailers were the first to learn that industry legend Greg Capullo will make his long-heralded return to Marvel Comics later this year!

Capullo, an artist who catapulted to stardom after his acclaimed work on X-Force in the 90s and numerous impactful runs across the comic book world, is back at Marvel for the first time in decades. Marvel Comics is proud to welcome Capullo back into the fold, and right now, fans can check out his first new work for the Marvel mythos: an explosive variant cover for Wolverine #37! Previously listed as a top secret classified variant cover, the cover will hit stands on September 20. Preorder it at your local comic shop today!

Capullo will also provide a glorious and action-packed cover for a special one-shot this November, Deadpool: Seven Slaughters #1. Witness seven kills in seven days as fan-favorite Deadpool creators past and future, including co-creator Rob Liefeld, Gail Simone, Cullen Bunn and more, welcome readers to a week in the life of Wade Wilson, the best mercenary Marvel’s ever had (just ask him)! Spinning out of their current hit Spider-Man run, prepare for a SUPERIOR RECKONING as Spider faces a brand-new villain from his SUPERIOR past. As she fries New York with all the power of a living star, Doc Ock makes a life-changing discovery in this epic celebration of everything that made Spider-Man Superior. The new villain will make her first appearance in Superior Spider-Man Returns before unleashing her revenge on Otto, Peter, and more in the new series.
