Insomniac Games‘ Marvel’s Spider-Man for the Playstation 4 is getting even more outfits for you to swing around in.
In Amazing Spider-Man #258, Spider-Man was wearing the symbiote costume and the Fantastic Four helped him get it off leaving him in his underpants. To conceal his identity he borrowed a Fantastic Four costume and a grocery bag to hide his identity, hence Bombastic Bag Man!
But, that’s not the only history of Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four. Spider-Man joined the Fantastic Four when they were the Future Foundation donning a black and white costume.
Both costumes are available today by downloading patch 1.14.
As a “holiday gift,” Insomniac Games has released Sam Raimi‘s version of Spider-Man for Marvel’s Spider-Man for the Playstation 4. The suit is included for free in the latest update for the game.
Fans have demanded, ie at times harassed the Insomniac staff, to add the suit to the game since its release. They have now moved on to doing the same to get the suit from The Amazing Spider-Man. The lesson, don’t give into online harassment, it only encourages more.
