Minotaur #2 has interesting concepts but doesn’t quite nail down its potential

Photojournalist Gloria Monday’s mission to investigate outbreaks of the future continues!

An encounter unlocks clues about the “weretiger” terrorizing a local Indian population; and truth-seeking takes a personal turn when Monday’s search for answers about the Singularity event uncovers a life-changing (and possibly Earth-shattering) revelation.

Meanwhile, money man Raf Romero proves he’s more than just the bankroller when he shares shreds of his origin story and fresh new intell.

Government agents Koch and Bull’s scorched Earth pursuit of the team heats up, and all the new leads in the world won’t help Monday crack the case if this cat-and-mouse game continues.

Modern dating is rough.

No one likes being on the apps, but it’s not much easier meeting people IRL. Especially when they might turn you into a vampire without warning.

This is exactly what happened to Syd. She was only trying to get over her toxic ex—whom she may still drunkenly text from time to time—not looking to have her life totally changed. She thought finding the right guy before was hard, but now she has an unquenchable thirst for blood. Her dating pool has suddenly become her food chain!

Meanwhile, Izzy has been trying to make her dreams a reality in the Big Apple, though right now she’s part of the gig economy working as a rideshare driver. When Syd ends up in the back of Izzy’s car, there is an instant connection. Is this love at first sight, or will it all end with one bite?

Si Spurrier and Christopher Mitten Reimagine King Arthur in Rampant Swine

Behind every legend is a true story, and it’s often much bloodier than imagined. Ignition Press has announced Rampant Swine, a savage and subversive reimagining of an Arthurian legend in the tradition of Conan the Barbarian from Si Spurrier and Christopher Mitten.

In a Britain forged in blood, mud, magic, and monsters, the legendary King Arthur is a brutal warlord surrounded by his knights who are every bit as savage, strange, and legendary as the world they inhabit.

When the young knight Culhwch arrives at Arthur’s fortress pleading for help in completing 39 impossible tasks assigned him by the giant Ysbaddaden to win the hand of his beautiful daughter Olwen, he and Arthur’s warriors embark on an incredible quest of giant slaying, monstrous boar hunting, and magical treasure theft, as they battle their way through a dying age of myth.

But beneath the bloodshed and barbarism, something isn’t right. Because every great legend has a story beneath the story—and King Arthur was never meant to be this kind of hero.

Rampant Swine #1 will be available in comic shops November 25th, 2026 from co-creators Si Spurrier and Christopher Mittenwith colors by Brennan Wagner and letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. This issue features two open-to-order covers from series artist Mitten and Joëlle Jones, along with a 1-in-10 retailer incentive by comics legend Mike Mignola.

Just Brutal #5 adds a lot of info as it dives into the history of Winter and Jordan’s parents

As Jordan Savage struggles to use his father’s mystic sword against attacking Mordorks, his twin sister is locked in a battle of her own. Namely, her own anxiety and the legacy of her heroic mother, which has now suddenly been foisted upon her. It’s hard enough to live up to the reputation of a woman who you never understood and who you think doesn’t understand you, but it’s even harder when the entire human race depends on it! This penultimate issue of the first series of Just Brutal is not just a crucial inflection point in the plot, but it’s also the most emotional issue for our characters.

The Dogsitter #2 is predictable but a very enjoyable romance comic
