The 2017 Glyph Awards Nominees are Out

The Glyph Awards have announced their 2017 nominations. The awards highlight “the best in comics made by, for, and about people of color from the preceding calendar year. While it is not exclusive to black creators, it does strive to honor those who have made the greatest contributions to the comics medium in terms of both critical and commercial impact.”

The awards will be presented at the East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention.

2016 Glyph Comics Awards Winners Announced

glyph comics awards smallAwarded this past weekend coinciding with the East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention, the Glyph Comics Awards recognize the best in comics made by, for, and about people of color from the preceding calendar year.

The awards were dominated by Chuck Collins and his webcomic Bounce! which walked away with 3 of the 10 awards.
