NYCC 2024: The New Phineas and Ferb cast announced!

At New York Comic Con, Disney Branded Television officially revealed the voice cast for the highly anticipated new season of Phineas and Ferb. For the first time in over a decade, co-creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh reunited with the rest of the beloved cast at their NYCC panel, which also included exclusive sneak peeks of the new season. Phineas and Ferb is scheduled to debut next year on Disney Channel and Disney+.

Known for its history of celebrity cameos from fans of the show, Phineas and Ferb’s next season will feature new guest appearances from notable actors, musicians, athletes and more. They will join Vincent Martella and David Errigo Jr. as stepbrothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, respectively, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, Caroline Rhea as Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner as Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, and co-creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire as Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh as Major Francis Monogram.

The new season of Phineas and Ferb will follow the inventive stepbrothers as they tackle another 104 days of summer. Candace is more determined than ever to finally bust her little brothers while their pet platypus, Perry, continues to lead a double life as the suave Agent P whose sole mission is to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz from taking over the Tristate area.

Get a sneak peek at Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur debuts on the Disney Channel on February 10th and you can get an early look at it. It’ll come to Disney+ soon after.

Based on the Marvel comics, the series stars Lunella and her pal Devil Dinosaur.

The series stars Siamond White as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl), Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Libe Barer as Casey, Alfre Woodard as Mimi, Sasheer Zamata as Adria, Jermaine Fowler as James Jr., Gary Anthony Williams as Pops, and executive producer Laurence Fishburne as The Beyonder.

Raphael Saadiq serves as the series executive music producer and the series is executive-produced by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland’s Cinema Gypsy Productions and Emmy Award-winner Steve Loter.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur follows 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur, as they protect New York City’s Lower East Side from danger.

Based on Marvel’s hit comic books, the highly-anticipated Disney Branded Television animated series is slated to premiere on February 10, 2023 on Disney Channel and shortly after on Disney+.

SDCC 2022: Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur guests and recurring voice cast revealed plus a first look!

A multitalented lineup of guests and recurring stars are lending their voices to Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, the highly anticipated series from Disney Branded Television, which centers on 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. Slated to premiere in 2023 on Disney Channel and Disney+, the stellar guest cast includes Alison Brie (“GLOW”), Andy Cohen (“Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”), Daveed Diggs (Broadway’s “Hamilton”), Maya Hawke (“Stranger Things”), Jennifer Hudson (“Respect”), Cliff “Method Man” Smith (“Power Book II: Ghost”), Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother”) and Wesley Snipes (“Blade” trilogy). Recurring stars include Omid Abtahi (“The Mandalorian”), Utkarsh Ambudkar (“Ghosts”), Michael Cimino (“Love, Victor”), Indya Moore (“Pose”) and Craig Robinson (“The Office”).

The news, a first-look clip and exclusive artwork was revealed today during a “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” panel at San Diego Comic-Con, featuring the series cast and creative team.

“Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” stars Diamond White as Lunella (aka Moon Girl); Alfre Woodard as Lunella’s grandmother, Mimi; Libe Barer as Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata as Lunella’s mom, Adria; Jermaine Fowler as Lunella’s dad, James Jr.; Gary Anthony Williams as Lunella’s grandfather, Pops; and series executive producer Laurence Fishburne in the recurring role of The Beyonder, a curious and mischievous trickster.

After a massive deal with Netflix, Sony Pictures has signed another deal, this time with Disney. The licensing deal will bring Spider-Man and other “Marvel properties” from Sony to Disney+ and elsewhere starting with Sony’s 2022 release slate.

The deal features a lot of parts and runs through Sony’s 2026 theatrical slate. Sony titles will come to Disney+, Hulu, FX Networks, ABC, Disney Channels, and Freeform. There are other titles that are included in the deal. Disney said a “significant number’ of films will come to Hulu in June.

This is not long after Sony and Netflix signed a deal to bring Sony’s films to the platform in the post-theatrical window. The Disney deal would cover airisng after. The films will come to Netflix about nine months after the start of the theatrical run then after to Disney’s various platforms. Both deals are for the same term.

Like the Netflix deal, the Disney deal only covers the US market.

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is Coming to the Disney Channel

Disney Channel has ordered a new animated series based on the Marvel comic series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur from Disney Television Animation. The series will be executive produced by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland‘s Cinema Gypsy Productions (ABC’s black-ish), Marvel Animation & Family Entertainment, and Emmy Award-winner Steve Loter (Disney’s Kim Possible).

The series follows 13-year old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her red T-Rex Devil Dinosaur after he’s accidentally brought to New York City via a time vortex.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur debuted in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur #1 in January 2016 and was created by Amy Reeder, Brandon Montclaire, and Natacha Bustos.
