Renegade To Unveil iPad App Demo At Fan Expo Canada

For their third appearance at Fan Expo Canada, Renegade Arts Entertainment will be showing their Canadian pride with exclusives and a special, never-before-seen demo for an upcoming iPad app. The publisher will be located in Artist Alley Space: P28, and will be holding signings with writer/artist Lovern Kindzierski for the graphic novels Shame and The Loxleys and the War of 1812, as well as artist Dave Ross for the upcoming series, Necromantic. Renegade will also have exclusive The Loxleys and the War of 1812 playing cards and first copies of the Doug Bradley’s Spinechillers Volume 10 audio book, featuring Doug, Robert Englund and Jeffery Combs.

In addition, Renegade’s editor in chief, Alexander Finbow, will be on hand to provide a demo of the upcoming iPad app for The Loxleys and the War of 1812, from NFB Digital Studio. Based on the graphic novel from writer Alan Grant, artist Claude St. Aubin and colorist Lovern Kindzierski, this interactive version of the book will use the iPad’s features to provide animation, music and sound effects; and will include an interactive map for following the story by location.

Fan Expo Canada is entering its 18th year and showcases five genres (Comic, Anime, Science Fiction, Horror and Gaming), over 700 exhibits and sprawls to over 400,000 square feet and over 75,000 fans. Each year the Expo has a phenomenal celebrity guest list who sign autographs, host presentations and conduct question & answer sessions with their fans.
