On Cover A, Chapel’s gun sights will be trained on an all-new quartet of characters: Invincible by Cory Walker, D’orc by Brett Bean, Feral’s Elsie by Trish Forstner, and Fireborn by Patrick Mulholland. On Cover B, fans get to see an array of Ghost Machine characters, including Rook by Jason Fabok, Geiger by Gary FrankHyde Street‘s Mr. X-Ray by Ivan Reis, and Hornsby & Halo‘s Rose by Peter Snejbjerg. D’Orc Heads Back to Print for its First Three Issues

The first three issues of the white-hot D’orc by Brett Bean have sold out yet again at the distributor level. Issues #1-3 will be rushed back to print this week by Image Comics in order to keep up with rampant reorder activity.

Armed with nothing but a wisecracking enchanted shield and a crippling need for friendship, D’orc follows a lonely orphan who stumbles headfirst into Sunderaine’s never-ending war. Light vs. Dark. Elves vs. Orcs. Wizards vs. Common Sense. Dragons vs. Literally Everyone. And caught dead-center? D’orc. Half dwarf, half orc, and wholly inconvenient to a doomsday prophecy, D’orc is destined to end the world. Soon, every human, elf, goblin, dwarf, Snargletooth, Necroid, Ice Giant, Trauma Llama, and at least three other unpronounceable magical creatures will know his name. Unfortunately, so will his enemies.

Available at comic book shops on Wednesday, June 24.

D’Orc #4 is another fun issue that continues to nail the off-the-rails fantasy concept

D’orc is stuck between rival goblin gangs and the giant three-headed Thrawg they hunt. It’s all spears and teeth in this one. D’orc is learning in life that you end up a shish kebab or a chew toy. Slobbering will happen, but at least one piece of D’orc will get closer to his destination.

Exquisite Corpses’ Rascal Randy Gets the Spotlight this July

Writer Tyler Boss, the scribe of Image Comics/Skybound bestselling series Universal Monsters: The Phantom of the Opera, and artist Dylan Burnett are joining forces for a new Exquisite Corpses spinoff featuring the terrifying character Rascal Randy. This five issue limited series produced by Tiny Onion reveals the origin story of the iconic bunny mascot killer and will hit shelves this July from Image Comics.

The sleepy little town of Aurora Springs, NY, has exactly one claim to fame: it’s the birthplace of Rascal Randy. Not the man in the suit—that man has never mattered. He was no one until he put the mascot head on for the first time… not until he felt the life leave someone’s body with his thickly furred gloves wrapped around them.

No, Aurora Springs is the birthplace of Rascal Randy the rabbit, who, once upon a time, was poised to become the greatest animated character this country had ever seen—until greed and tragedy changed his trajectory forever.

Witness the events before season one of Exquisite Corpses that made Rascal Randy New Jersey’s selection for America’s deadliest game. When chaos comes hopping into town, the secret sordid history of Rascal Randy will finally be revealed.

The launch issue will also feature highly collectible covers by top-tier artists such as Javier Pulido, Riley Rossmo, Brett Bean, and series artist Michael Walsh. Walsh’s variant will come polybagged with a collectible trading card tied to the soon-to-launch Exquisite Corpses: The Game, which he co-created with the Tiny Onion team; the game will be available to back on Kickstarter this May.

Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, July 8.

  • Cover A by Burnett
  • Cover B by Boss
  • Cover C by Walsh polybag variant with collectible trading card
  • Cover D Blank Sketch
  • Cover E Secret Stealth variant
  • Cover F 1:25 copy incentive by Pulido
  • Cover G 1:50 copy incentive by Rossmo
  • Cover H 1:100 copy incentive by Bean

D’orc #1 heads to a Fifth Printing

D’orc #1, fifth printing

Runaway hit series D’orc by Brett Bean has sold out yet again at the distributor level. D’orc #1 will be rushed back to print by Image Comics in order to keep up with unending momentum for this white-hot series.

Perfect for fans of Conan the Barbarian, The Lord of the Rings, and, of course, I Hate Fairyland’s deadpan humor, D’orc is an adventure readers won’t want to miss.

D’orc #1 fifth printing arrives May 13. D’orc #2, third printing will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, May 6.

D’Orc #3 is a solid and fun issue with some nice twists and action and entertaining art

D’orc is being followed by an annoyingly large and ominous Dwarf aimed on erasing him from existence. For real. Like with a potion from the Silver Witch. Is that even possible? To permanently be erased from existence? Probably, because magic is real. D’orc faces off against a real threat with a giant hammer. Things will happen that will change his fate forever. Or he’ll get wiped from existence. 50/50 chance on this one.
