Knight Models Reveals the Batman Miniature Game Suicide Squad Two-Player Game Box

The Suicide Squad: a team of incarcerated super-villains coerced into performing high-risk operations for the US Government in exchange for commuted sentences. Formally known as Task Force X, the squad’s actions are highly classified, and the team itself is highly expendable.

Knight Models has revealed a new deluxe box set is the first two-player game box for the Batman Miniature Game, containing everything you to fight out vicious street-battles between the Suicide Squad and the Joker’s crew.

The new box set features 13 figures and character cards, rule book including a special campaign, 2 full-color die-cut card buildings, 4 lamp posts markers, 4 sewer markers, “take the lead” and objective counters and dice.

This is the first box set for the game. Up to this point, figures have been sold individually and in four-man gangs and the rules have been available in a hard cover book.

A price hasn’t been announced, but I’d expect it to be about $125 to $150. The wording from the announcement also makes it sound like we may see more box sets in the future.

Knight Models Reveals Joker’s Gang for the Batman Miniature Game Box

Knight Models has revealed the second crew that will be a part of the Batman Miniature Game Game Box. The Batman Miniature Game is exactly as it sounds, a miniature game featuring characters not just from Batman, but across the DC Universe. Up to this point, one would purchase their models and gang separately along with a rule book. It sounds like Knight Models will be releasing a box set featuring two gangs, and we’re not quite sure what else right now.

Previously, it was revealed that the first gang was based on the Suicide Squad, the version from the recent movie. The game publisher has now revealed the second, also based on the film the Joker and his gang. What’s interesting is Harley Quinn is shown for both gangs.

Check out a pick of the gang below. We’ll have more updates as the rest of the box contents and price are revealed.

Knight Models Shows Off Suicide Squad for Batman Miniature Game

Knight Models has been teasing out models over the past week for what sounds like a boxed game release for their Batman Miniature Game.

Up to this point, the Batman Miniature Game has been available in a hardcover rulebook and either individual models or gangs featuring four figures. It looks like this “game box” will feature two gangs, the first revealed is the Suicide Squad.

While some of these characters have been available in other versions, this new Suicide Squad gang is based on the movie versions of the characters.

It’s unknown for certainty what the other gang available is or what else will be in the box, but it’s a guess that the Joker’s gang will be the other based on a teaser image of the Panda with a gun from the film. You can see photos of the full gang and some of the individual models below.

Knight Models Shows off the Oliver Queen DKR Mini for the Batman Miniature Game

We reported last week that the next way of releases for the Batman Miniature Game had been teased early through the Knight Models website. While we have gotten a look at Carrie Kelley and the Sons of Batman, the other models have been elusive.

Today, Knight Models has released a first look at the Dark Knight Returns version of Oliver Queen. The model looks like it came straight from the comic series as can been seen in the comic panels below and the animated movie still.

Carrie Kelley, Oliver Queen, Joker, and Gorilla Grodd up next for Knight Model’s Batman Miniature Game

Knight Models has begun rolling out their previews of the next releases for their Marvel Universe Miniature Game and Batman Miniature Game. While the game company has teased one release so far, we don’t officially know what else we should expect for the two games.

Except we’ve got the scoop of releases, though not images of the miniatures.

So far, Knight Models has teased Carrie Kelley and the Sons of Batman for the Batman Miniature Game. Joining Kelley is a Frank Miller version of Oliver Queen (so we’re expecting a Dark Knight Returns look), as well as a new version of the Joker with Robotic Dolls, and finally the Flash’s nemesis Gorilla Grodd makes his debut after being seen in the “The Flash and Arrow” expansion book for the game.

We’ll be on the lookout when official images of the models are released.

Knight Models Reveals an Arkham Knight Batmobile

Knight Models is the company behind the Batman Miniature Game. In it you control 4-10 minis such as Batman, Joker, Bane, or simple thugs, and duke it out over territory and each other. In a very cool twist, you can get various incarnations of Batman, Joker, and others from throughout the character’s history.

Today, the company revealed a Batmobile based on Batman: Arkham Knight under their new Knight Models Legends brand.

The miniature will be out in 2016, and I’m working on further coverage of what looks like an awesome miniatures game.
