The first two issues of Ain’t No Grave head back to print

The hot new series Ain’t No Grave by Eisner Award winning writer Skottie Young and Eisner Award nominated artist Jorge Corona—the team behind Eisner Award nominated Middlewest and Bram Stoker Award nominated The Me You Love In The Dark—has sold out at the distributor level yet again. The first two issues in this highly-buzzed-about Western/Dark Fantasy mashup are being rushed back to print this week in order to keep up with escalating customer demand.

The Ain’t No Grave #1 third printing cover will be a black and white version of the first printing cover art and the cover art for Ain’t No Grave #2 second printing will feature a sepia-toned re-color.

Ain’t No Grave is best described as a genre-bending, original macabre Western/Fantasy tale for mature readers—an Unforgiven-style journey through a Guillermo Del Toro-esque lens.

Ryder put her violent past behind her when she fell in love and became a mother. But that was before she learned it was all going to be taken away. Now she’ll have to pick up her guns once again and ride to kill the one behind the threat. Who just happens to be Death.

In issue #2, Ryder seeks out Death in the city of Cypress, but quickly realizes that Death is on the hunt for her as well. She’s a wanted woman and every bullet in this dark place is looking to put her in a grave.

Ain’t No Grave #1 third printing (Lunar Code 0424IM912) and Ain’t No Grave #2 second printing (Lunar Code 0424IM913) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, July 17.

Ain’t No Grave #3 Cover A (Lunar Code 0524IM271) and Ain’t No Grave #3 Cover B 1:25 copy incentive (Lunar Code 0524IM832) will be available on Wednesday, July 10.

Ain’t No Grave #4 (Lunar Code 0624IM273) will be available on Wednesday, August 7.
