Image Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions has announced that the premiere issue of Rat City from writer Erica Schultz and artist Zé Carlos—the latest addition to the Spawn Universe mythology—has sold out completely at the distributor level. In response to its resounding success, Rat City #1 is being fast-tracked for reprint so that readers and retailers can continue to discover this new series.

Rat City #1 is set in a dystopian future, where corruption and inequality reign supreme. The series introduces us to former solider Peter Cairn—also known as ‘The Deviant’—whose transformation sets the stage for an epic tale of survival, redemption, and the blurred lines between right and wrong.

Rat City #1, second printing (Lunar Code 0324IM825) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, May 8. The Final Order Cutoff deadline for comic shop retailers is Monday, April 15.
