Spawn gets a triple sell-out with Violator #2, Violator #3, and Rat City #7

Three white-hot issues from Todd McFarlane Productions’ Spawn Universe—Violator #2 written by Marc Andreyko with art by Kyle HotzViolator #3 written by Andreyko with art by Jonathan Wayshak, and Rat City #7 written by Erica Schultz with art by Zé Carlos—have sold out completely at the distributor level and are being rushed back to print by Image Comics this week in order to keep up with overwhelming demand.

These massively popular, sold-out issues will be reprinted and on shelves next month, will feature eye-popping new cover art, and will provide collectors and new readers an exciting new opportunity to snag these must-have stories.

In Violator, readers explore the origins of one of Spawn’s most notorious villains. Rat City #1 has sold out and is getting a second printing and Image Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions have released a preview of Rat City #2. Rat City from writer Erica Schultz and artist Zé Carlos and a new addition to the Spawn Universe mythology.

Rat City is set in a dystopian future, where corruption and inequality reign supreme. The series introduces us to former solider Peter Cairn—also known as ‘The Deviant’—whose transformation sets the stage for an epic tale of survival, redemption, and the blurred lines between right and wrong.

Rat City #2 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, May 15. The Final Order Cutoff deadline for comic shop retailers is Monday, April 22:
