COVID-19 has impacted the comic industry shutting down distribution and putting stores, publishers, and creators, in a precarious situation

Forbidden Planet NYC has launched a GoFundMe to help raise money and keep the store open. They’re looking to raise $300,000.

The store is an industry icon launching in New York City in 1981 but the staff has been forced to work from home in the current crisis.

The GoFundMe says the store has had a month with zero revenue coming in but expenses still going out and lets face it, the cost to do business in New York City is astronomical.
