Introducing…Valkyrie!

This Valkyrie is a little different than the one we’ve seen in comics so far. This version is known as the Lone Defender of Asgard, and she’s a tankard-draining, maiden-wooing, giant-slaying thunderbolt of a woman. And, you can see from the design, this version takes her look from Tessa Thompson in her depiction in Thor: Ragnarok.

Written by Saladin Ahmed with art by Javier Rodriguez the first issue is on sale April 11 with covers by David Marquez, Javier Rodriguez, Mike McKone, and Jesus Saiz. The second issue is on sale April 25.
