After a lot of instant messaging and some shadow hiding cameos in the first season, Supergirl’s cousin Superman will be paying a visit in the second season of The CW‘s Supergirl.

Warner Bros. Television and The CW have announced that they are currently casting for the role of Clark Kent/Superman and the character will appear in the second season when he visits National City at the beginning of the season. This is the first time the two characters have shared the screen since 2010 on Smallville in 2010.

Superman will appear on the first two episodes of the season.
