Review: Man Plus #4
Of LOVE AND ROBOTS Despite successfully thwarting the cyborg threat and returning order to the streets of Olissipo, questions still remain unanswered for the city’s SOF; what’s to become of the renegade android and will the truths behind her creation ever come to light? From artist/writer André Lima Araújo (Avengers AI, Ultimate FF, Age of Apocalypse) comes the concluding chapter of this high-octane dystopian thriller that whisks the reader into the thick of a robotic skirmish and the unsettling conspiracy that lies at its heart…
The odd conclusion of Man Plus ends with the same thrill it began with. Except instead of being on the run the OCPD manages to capture the unique android from the people who created her. It may be a little stakeout based to start but, the action begins and ends with the same quickness it began. Even the end does raise some interesting philosophical questions about what it means to be human.
While the micro-camera finger may one of the best things drawn in this issue, since it gives you a detailed zoom up of the finger. Along with what it is looking at, which is nice view of the bad guys. This issue also gives some brief glimpses of the the main characters do off duty. Providing a unique insight into characters themselves.
